I have had a membership here off and on for several years. I do find that their prices on certain non-perishables can sometimes be better than the prices I find at other stores. I usually buy paper towels and trash bags here. Their meat is often good, but some varieties are of lower quality. The large containers of Berkeley and Jensen greek yogurt are a good value. Buying fresh vegetables here can be tricky since the quantities are large and the initial freshness is hit-or-miss. I prefer to buy produce at grocery stores that allow me to choose the quantity I buy. The check out process is long and knowing this often deters me from going to this store. During busy times, the time between deciding that I want to leave and actually making it through the check out and out the door takes about 20 minutes. This is mainly due to the insufficient number of employees working at the check out. I also dislike their couponing model. They have a membership fee. I wish that the membership fee would make it so that I don't have to waste my valuable time looking through coupon books for items that I, for the most part, do not want to buy.

At this time of day, just after opening, the shopping is quiet and there are no obstructions. If you need to speak to any service members, they are readily available. The best part is there are no lines at the checkout counters.

I find BJs more expensive than Sams for the things I buy. Signed up for free 3 months, after a month I get a notice that my membership is expiring and need to renew.
Not the best place for me to shop. I have a lot of friends who enjoy shopping here, so it would be great for some people.

I like buying in bulk and BJ'S is a good place to shop. They have most products and can really save you money and time. You go once and don't have to go back for weeks. They have electronics, housewares, food of all kinds, books, clothes, and personal care items. To me it's worth the trip.

Sticking up on snacks for summer vacation. There is no better place! They were out of a few things I was looking for and one of the discounts I thought I was getting never appeared, but for the most part it was a pleasant shopping experience. I now have enough to feed my small army for a few days. 😉
