Bitter Sweet Symphony

Best custom cake we have ever had! The gents at Bittersweet were polite, professional and happy to accommodate the requests of my 10 year old. Very convenient that the bakery is open 7 days a week, as meant we could pick up the cake on the party day which was a Sunday. My daughter and her friends were wowed by the decoration and rainbow layers, and it tasted amazing...super light sponge and delicious butter icing. We will be back again for our future cakes. Thank you to the team at Bittersweet for helping to make the first in-person party since we arrived in Canada extra special!

I was traveling from the U.S. to celebrate birthdays and a reunion with family after not being together for nearly three years. To help make this occasion memorable, I desired to have cakes for two dinners throughout our weekend together. I found Bittersweet Symphony and began to consider making a cake order. As a musician "Symphony" caught my attention. After viewing their website, also considering the attention toward the design layout, I was convinced choosing Bittersweet Symphony was worth placing my faith. If I were to add a subtitle to their business, it would be "Faith Cakes". Simply because the idea of having faith sits differently after taking such a leap on Bittersweet Symphony. The outcome of my "leap" was a memorable experience. In addition to a personal experience, waiters and waitresses were amazed by the attention to details on both cakes. My family was also amazed after the cakes were "unveiled". I could write a novel of explanations as to why Bittersweet Symphony is not only a bakery, but also a fond and lasting impression. Instead I will end my shared sentiment with: If you're looking for a bakery outcome of faith in the unknown, Bittersweet Symphony is worth the leap!

We are so happy we chose Bittersweet Symphony to provide the cakes for our Wedding! They were wonderful to work with, from the first chat about ordering, to the delivery on the day. The main cake was absolutely stunning and looked so good with the flowers added leftover from our bouquets. The cupcakes in the different flavours were delicious and were an absolute hit with our guests! We couldn't have asked for anything better. Thank you so much!

Absolutely amazing! We loved it great price great taste so moist made to perfection we almost didn't want to cut into it! Definitely will be back!!!! Ordered a second cake for her actual party with family and friends was absolutely amazing red velvet cake with mixed Berries was so good the cake looked like a piece of art we didn't want to cut these people are amazing such great customer service great prices! They have gained a customer for life.

I ordered my daughters birthday cake from here and not only was it decorated beautifully, it tasted absolutely amazing. It is very rare that an entire cake gets eaten in our home but there was not a single crumb left. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Bittersweet and Symphony for any and all dessert needs. This is definitely our new go to cake shop. Thanks again!!!

Great customer service. We were last minute and needed a cake same day. They were happy to assist us and made a beautiful cake for us. It surpassed my expectations. It tasted delicious! Way way way better than those grocery store cakes. The custard in between the layers was my favourite. It made our whole celebration so special. I am so appreciative not only of the cake but for the warm welcome and genuine eagerness to help us out. Thank you!! We will order from here for all of our future parties. The writing on the cake got bumped during transport and was our fault, not theirs. The birthday girl can’t read yet so she didn’t mind one bit

They make absolutely amazing birthday cakes. I just had a picture of the Star Wars cake I wanted for my husband’s birthday and they made it exactly like that. And he just loved it!!! It tasted super yummy. They packed the cake very well also and helped me put it in the car as I was picking it up alone. Highly recommend them if you are looking for custom made cakes at great prices!

I cannot recommend this spot enough! If you are looking for a showstopper cake that both looks and tastes AMAZING, look no further. I was planning a surprise event from out of town and while searching, stumbled upon this bakery. After reading some reviews and seeing some pictures, I felt confident this was where I wanted to order the cake from. I phoned and was able to settle the design and pay over the phone in no longer than 10minutes - an absolute breeze! Customer service 10/10.
