Excellent food presentation. Great food choices and wine selection. The shrimp and crab cocktail was good with decent cocktail sauce. The filets were cooked perfectly but not the best. The halibut was juicy and had a great sauce with great rice. It is our fourth time there and am never let down on quality or on service. If you noticed, this is rated one of the top restaurants in the Arlington area.
Big city glamor with small town ease. The Arlington Bistro's menu can hold up to any five star restaurant you will find in the big cities. Their location downtown Arlington is charming & convenient. Tastefully decorated interior, pleasant staff and a outstanding menu, gives me everything I am looking for in fine dining. I really enjoy local, fresh seafood, which the Bistro had plenty of. Tonight I started with a steamed clamb & muscle soup, followed by Dungeness crab cakes for a entree. My wife & I shared a spicey chocolate cake for desert, which we both highly recommend. Don't let the small town location fool you though, the cost can easily be a hundred per person. Despite the cost, which is worth it, the food & atmosphere are amazing. Vegetarian options: My wife is a vegetarian and the chef always accommodates
Everything about this place was AMAZING! The food, service, plate presentation and quality of food was spot on! Definitely my new favorite place for steak and lobster!!Food: 5/5
This restaurant was truly amazing. Took my wife here for her birthday and we had a great time. The food was excellent.and portions were generous. The service was excellent, and the waiter was just attentive enough without becoming part of your meal. Well worth the price and the drive. Definitely recommend!Food: 5/5
My wife and I, and extended family have frequented the Bistro several times and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and well presented. Appetizers, soups and desserts are exquisite! Definitely the jewel in nostalgic downtown Arlington. I especially appreciate the slower pace of meal progression as it affords time to really savor the overall epicurean dining experience with loved ones.
We loved everything! Our host was extremely courteous and the food did not disappoint! We had the roasted tomatoes and warm feta as appetizers, crab cakes and flank steak as entrees then delicious desserts! First time and hopefully will come back soon!
A When Harry Met Sally moment awaits. The very best cooked piece of fish I have eaten outside of New Orleans. The prep work involved prior to opening their doors is massive. If you cook then you get my meaning. This depth and level of flavor doesn't come forward in a few hours. Magnificent evening from Steve's welcoming greeting, the attentive service, a Chef Martin meal to truly swoon over and the best bite of chocolate cake on the planet earth. This is my happy place on all sensory points. Twenty five stars is more like it!
A fabulous restaurant. We had. I reservations on a Friday night we r from way out of town but we’re seated in an outside patio with a heater and lovely lights strung through an umbrella. We had great service and a terrific meal. We were accommodated with our requests to make an appetizer crab cakes into an entrée I only wanted 2 instead of the 3 in a full order. It was one Ty with risotto and delicious seasonal vegetables. Lemon creme brûlée for dessert. Light and delicious. A lovely leisurely meal in a lovely setting. My thanks to all
The food is of a very high quality, and the service is friendly and prompt. You could easily think you're at a restaurant at a nice hotel in a city, except there's a steady stream of diesel pickups revving their engines while they traverse Arlington's main drag. That literally is the only break to the ambience, and it's just a reminder that you're actually in small town Arlington, which made me appreciate how awesome the food was even more. We're lucky to have such a nice place so close.
The highest quality, service and cusine preparation in a 40 mile radius! Martin takes consistency to a new level with many years of demonstrated success. I now live in Bellevue and will make a special trip North to enjoy a meal. A very special restaurant indeed. A must for the true food enthusiast!Food: 5/5
