Amazing friendly comfortable place with delicious food. Best pizza I've ever tried.

After a long train ride from Toronto this is just what the doctor ordered. This meal fed my spirit. A beautiful and quaint place with great service. The food was fresh and oh so tasty. Take me back.

An excellent place to stop an either have a pizza or some carpaccio and a pasta carbonara. We totally cleaned our plates.

Since taking my son here over a year ago, he still talks about it as the best pizza he's ever had. He's 13 years old and never talks about  cuisine. But he now compares everything that eats to Bistro Silla. It's a phenomenon I don't quite understand. Anytime someone make something exceptional he says, "This is almost as good as Bistro Silla." He literally does't remember the name of restaurants, except this one. I enjoyed the waiter's knowledgeable wine recommendation. I just had to look it up and leave a belated review....

Came across this place purely to get out of a rainstorm. What a surprise. Great food and excellent service! A hidden gem. Best pizza my wife has ever tasted. Our 2 year old had the salmon crostini and ate the whole thing! Lovely.

Upscale place with reasonable prices and great ambiance. I was walking by on my way to more expensive Italian restaurant and saw that the chef was Italian and knew the food would be good and it definitely delivered.

I would totally recommend this place the food is great! A great place to go to for a nice date or for a meet up with friends. Restaurant has a rustic feel, not crowded at all when we went for dinner on a Thursday night. Prices are not that bad for an entree. Food was so good though I prefer my plate to be filled, I still left feeling hungry lol not used to fine dining restaurant portions lol but again I totally recommend this restaurant for the quality of food :

Delicious dinner at Bistro Silla. They were short staffed--someone hadn't shown up--so everyone pitched in including the chef. And still everything prepared wonderfully. Very fresh. Tomatoes like one should eat in July!

Nice environment and location but subpar food for the price. Restaurant wasnt even full and we waited for food about half hour. Sea food linguine had pieces of plastic brush bristles.  Ordered grilled salmon they basically brought piece of raw salmon that had grilled signs. After we started to eat we saw it and I showed raw piece of fish inside ,waiter said he would take care of the charge but then charged us half for what we didn't eat. After I pointed that he shouldn't charge us he was fighting back telling me that any grilled salmon has to be medium rare inside. Guys  there are hundreds of nice restaurant with much better value around that area, go there.

My wife and I enjoyed 2 dinners at Bistro Silla while visiting Old Montreal. Their pastas will never dissappoint you, and their pizza was delicious! Reasonable prices!  Dan Lethbridge Alberta
