Bistro ’67 is a new teaching inspired restaurant located inside the Centre for Food at Durham College’s Whitby campus.

Story

Bistro ‘67 offers guests a memorable field-to-fork dining experience within Durham College’s award-winning W. Galen Weston Centre for Food (CFF), where community, local agriculture and learning come together. Meals are prepared and served by our skilled staff and students who create flavourful dishes inspired by fresh ingredients from the CFF’s own gardens and other local suppliers across Durham Region. Visit Bistro ‘67 for a dining experience that will delight your palate while supporting the next generation of culinary and hospitality professionals. A 3 Star Certified Green Restaurant, Bistro ’67 also holds a Feast ON designation in recognition of its use of local food and beverage. Open Tuesday to Friday for lunch and Tuesday to Saturday for dinner.

This was my first visit after hearing great reviews of the food. I came to the Paint N' Palate evening which was a lot of fun. The food was really good and filling. The customer service was really friendly and quite witty. I highly recommend this restaurant for a casual evening or even a romantic evening.

Absolutely amazing! Easily one of the best fine dining kitchens in Durham. Flavors and plating are amazing. The buildings architecture is interesting. The mileage for your dollar is also unbelievable, it's not inexpensive but it's definitely inexpensive for the quality.

My family and I tried Bistro 67 for the first time yesterday and it exceeded our expectations. We've lived in Whitby now for 7 years but were used to the quality and variety of Toronto...this is the first restaurant I found in Whitby that rivals the better ones we've been to in Toronto. I really like the concept/philosophy they adopted...the food was healthy and tasted great! We will be back again for sure! One slight negative but I don't think it's their fault, is it's a bit difficult to get to (esp. for a quick take out) but well worth the bit of extra effort.

Came here for the first time last month and it was amazing! Great ambiance and service! Food was simply delicious. Will be going here again. 👍

Amazing restaurant! Great fresh food, from their own gardens. My only issue is, I hope the extend the size of the restaurant, so more people can enjoy this great place.
