Anyone who states that there wasn't a large selection of birds, didn't take the time to look, because there was a different type of bird in every tree, bush, and all areas that they can nest and hang out. Great place to take the kids!! Feeding stations for the birds everywhere so you get some awesome up close viewing too, and some will eat right out of your hand if your patient enough. Clean and all the animals here are well looked after. We will definitely go again! :)

Beautiful birds, great way to spend an afternoon. I highly recommend it to everyone. Don't forget to bring your camera. You're going to need it. The birds are very tame and let you get up close for some fabulous shots. I took so many pictures I was worried my batteries would run out. You can bet I will be back in the future. I loved it!

I had the opportunity when I was younger to be "keeper for the day" for a few years in a row. All of the staff give exceptional care to all of the animals on the premises. They weigh out all of the food in individual dishes for all of the animals and give live food (mealworms and crickets) to some of them as well. The behind the scenes areas are also very clean. All of the exhibits are clean and do not stink and none of the animals seem distressed or depressed. They have many species of exotic birds and reptiles and all have ample room to move around. My family and I have been going to Bird Kingdom for 10 years and we love it every time we go.

Definitely worth a visit. The kids loved it here. Seeing Cowboy Colin made their day. You can spend and hour or 2 here just don't rush round, there are plenty of photo opportunities and you can also purchase photos at the end in the souvenir shop

A really neat attraction if you like birds. If you take the time to enjoy everything and observe the animals, it'll take about 2h to get through it all. If you're not into animals, it'll feel like a waste of money since you'll probably get through faster. The photo ops are exclusively taken by staff so you have to buy a picture of you holding a bird. You can take your own pictures of the birds though. Was a bit disappointed that the staff didn't know why you shouldn't pet a bird on the back (they get hormonal and hard to work with). Overall though, there were lots of birds to see and the exhibits are nicely put together.
