Birchwood Electric is a family owned company who provides superior residential Electrical, Security and Home Technology services to St. Cloud and the surrounding areas. Birchwood was founded by Tony and Rachel Thoennes, a husband and wife team in 2005 and currently owned by Travis Burg.
The values held strong as a family were quickly incorporated into the foundation of Birchwood Electric, Security and Home Technology. Values such as integrity, respect, and hard work. These values became a standard by which Birchwood operates. It's called The Birchwood Standard and it trickles down into every aspect of what we do. At Birchwood, we appreciate each and every customer and strive to exceed your expectations.

I had Birchwood Electric scheduled to do my residential project. With their busy schedule we were about 4-5 weeks out before they could start. I understood and was patient. Just days before our start date, I receive a call from the owner telling me they cannot fulfill my project any longer due to losing an employee. They did not bother to try and reschedule, but would rather just drop my project all together. I will not be using their services again, nor will I ever recommend this company to anyone I know. Very frustrating experience!!!!!

Our new house was wired by them and we are pleased.  They are prompt to return calls and answer questions.

I hired Birchwood to install electric in floor heat and to do some other general electrical wiring in my home.  They were very professional.  They did great work at a fair price.  My wife really appreciated that they left the house as clean as it was when they arrived.  I would gladly hire them again when the need arises.

There are very few businesses that are so honest and easy to work with as Birchwood Electric. A few words to describe them would be: integrity, caution, care, concern, happy, friendly, personable, professional and knowledgeable.Don't be hesitant to hire Birchwood. Because of the great experience I've had with them I can refer them to my friend who is the worst critic without hesitation.
