Birch Haven by the Beach cottages offers very clean, comfortable and affordable accommodation for families, couples, or singles. Open all year and conveniently located in the heart of Wasaga Beach, Ontario - less than 5 minutes' walk to the beach (#4), parks, the river, marina and shopping (coffee shops, fast food, restaurants, laundromat, video store, etc). Birch Haven by the Beach is a perfect place for an unforgettable vacation for those who love the beach, bicycling, hiking, mini-golfing, golfing, skiing, cross-country skiing, skidooing, horseback riding, fishing, hunting and much more!

Birch Haven is located 1.5 hours from Toronto, 30 minutes from Blue Mountain Ski Resort near Collingwood, 30 minutes from Midland and Barrie. All units are winterized and available all seasons. For winter sports enthusiasts we have a heated garage to wax your skis and great off-season pricing.

My family come here every summer and we have the most wonderful time! The owner is such a kind person, the beach is not to far and there is a wonderful Polish deli and restaurant in the area, the owner is very kind! You have your own cabin with one or more bedrooms, there is a picnic table and grill for each cabin and playground for the young ones and a fire if you want to roast marshmallows or sausages. Come here at least once, you're sure to make a friend and have a wonderful time!

Very welcoming and the owner is such a sweetheart! It's a charming, got everything you need, very cozy and clean cottage. It's a walking distance to beach 29 and near McDonald's, Tim Hortons, dollar store and lots of other places to eat. I will definitely come back here again and strongly recommend this place to anyone.

I enjoyed the stay at birch haven. The area was nice as it was away from the large group of students that were staying in the area that weekend. The location was nice, as it was close to the beach. It was an enjoyable experience at birch haven.

My favorite of all places to stay for cottages. The hosts are awesome and are very accomidating. The cottage was clean and tidy.. no smells, no stains. Maintenance on the property is very well upkept. Never have an issue. Ask to have a fire at the main pit and wood is supplied! Excellent for kids as there is a sand box, play park and a nice hunk of land, safely between the cottages and the main house for them to play in. BBQ + gas included. Picnic table and umbrella there a well. Really do not need anything when comin to this place, just personal hygene items, clothing and towels for the beach! I ALWAYS go back to this place. (I have been travelling to Wasaga for 38 years, and my father was born there, and my grandparents were judges in Barrie so roots go deep). They allow you to dribk on property as long as you are civil. This is NOT a place for teenagers to hang out and party.
