Greg and his team were very polite, down to earth, and very proficient at their job. Good attention to detail. They sloped the driveway to flow away from house and made the walkway safer. It took awhile for them to finish the job, but definitely worth waiting for. I applaud Greg for his equal opportunity hiring. Would definitely recommend. Thanks, Kim &Bette Murray.

Did my driveway and the left a huge puddle where we would get into my car . Have a toddler so they get wet feet getting in the car. In the winter it will freeze and maybe fall . Got told to shovel the puddle after it rains. They don't care about their customers. Wouldn't recommend them at all .

I've read the reviews and see many people complain about weeds. READ the contracts you people have signed. NO PAVING COMPANY warranties MOTHER NATURE **WEEDS/cracks etc. Also saw complaint about slope and drainage, if you have a flat driveway to start with the street grade is set by the CITY just like the level/grade of your home and surrounding homes bye the original builder. Sometimes there is nothing that can be done after the fact. How can you blame a contractor that comes in after and expect them to fix these things, ITS IMPOSSIBLE unless you pay for a concrete driveway 10x the price that can be swayled but then you'd probably complain it isn't completely level. Ludicrous expectations or shear ignorance are not an excuse to defame a company that has serviced the Hamilton area for over 30 years. I HIGHLY recommend Birch Paving, KEEP up the GREAT Service and Work BIRCH. My Family and I will continue to support you every chance we get which isn't often because all our driveways have lasted and lasted, we are moving this year so likely will be calling you soon!

I wish I'd have gone by the review and wouldn't have used them. Ilistened to 'people in the area who said their work was ok. Well, it's not. If you've been in this business for even a year, you would know to slope the pavement to the drain. These guys didn't and our driveway is flat and doesn't drain into the sewer drain. Every time it rains or snow the driveway is flooded. In winter it was dangerous - like a skating rink below the water and a disabled neighbour almost fell. Water sits on top of the driveway and seeps through. It is starting to dissolve the paving. They came back once and put a little trough in, but that didn't work. They are ignoring all contact at this point. DO NOT USE.

Very competitive prices and at first look the quality of work is good. I'll try to update after a year to see how it lasts. There were some communication issues around when they would exactly be coming that weren't handled ideally which, along with the fact that I need to see how things look in a year, is the only reason I'm keeping a star back.
