A great historic and heritage Billy Bishop Legion. Attended the Walk of Remembrance today, visiting homes, and addresses of WW I soldiers in the Kerrisdale area of Vancouver, many of whom did not return. A fantastic program.

I stopped by the place two years ago and just came back again from California. This legion is AMAZING. Go here for a genuine local experience. You will be welcomed as a visitor. Of course, experiences may vary but we found ourselves here during their karaoke night on Saturday. The bartender is attentive, the booze is relatively cheap, and the crowd tonight was fabulous and friendly. Expect a chill, laid back atmosphere. Plenty of seating, darts, board games, and of course— Saturday night karaoke. Perfect for solo wanderers or a group of friends. I’m sad that I have to leave back for home, but this legion will always hold a spot in my heart.

This place is hidden gem! It is legion branch, but they have beautiful pub downstairs, which looks like old English pub. You might be surprise that you are the youngest one there, but it does not matter. Atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming that you want to come back. Drinks are cheap

This place feels like the secret meet up spot for all the awesome folks in town! Different generations young and old, very laid-back atmosphere and warm and welcoming though you'd never guess from the outside brick building. Not insanely loud so you can have actual conversations with friends, watch hockey, play darts, beer on the tap, and share pizzas that get delivered right to the door of the legion! You never notice how time goes by as there are no windows and it's super fun inside :

Legions in general are a dying entity. They have lost their focus, veterans. They now, including Billy Bishops , cater to customers looking for cheap drinks, having no respect for the institution or it's history. All too often fighting or near fighting occurs in this location and other Legions due to questionable " clientele " Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good dust up, once in a while, but Legions used to be quite respectable joints.

Great people! Friendly atmosphere. They are currently renovating the main lounge, can't wait to see it.

Five years living in Vancouver and I've never found out about this place! What a waste! I definitely LOVED this place, very cool crowd, awesome music and friendly staff. My friend asked me to join them for the night, I was not in my best mood when I went in but definitely got out later that night in such refreshing mood. Was an awesome way to kick off a weekend in Vancouver's winter, for sure.

We came for beers but it turned out they have a dinner night every Friday. There were also draws for prizes and my friend won one! The place is very authentic, full of energy and, of course, great beer!
