Dr hambling is great . He gets in and out fast so your not sitting there forever . I usually have pain afterwards but not with him

Went in for a root canal my Dr didn’t feel comfortable performing. Was told my tooth couldn’t be saved and needed to be pulled…then had to make a quick decision right after the tooth was pulled to insert a bone graft in case I wanted to get a replacement tooth. Opted for that while sitting in the chair after my tooth was removed. Paid $200 out of pocket right off the bat and then got a $530 bill because they’re not in network with any insurance companies which was news to me….so basically a $730 tooth pull! LOL!!!! Would have gone to my regular dentist and paid no more than $100 for all of this!! And turns out they missed a root canal right next to the tooth they pulled because I continued to have pain….so I’m hoping the tooth that was pulled really needed to be Wish I was told up front they don’t take my insurance and what the costs would be.

Exceptional care! I was referred to Dr. Hamling after experiencing a confusing root canal consultation at another practice. Dr. Hamling and his staff are amazing and provide a comforting bedside mannerism that can be absent in medical office settings. Humor is never lacking while maintaining a level of professionalism. Dr. Hamling and his staff put all my concerns at ease!! When I came in for the procedure, it became quickly apparent that I had an "angry tooth" and a bit more care was needed for my pain management. Dr. Hamling was quick and efficient with getting me comfortable, telling me throughout the procedure what he was doing and why. I am so glad I chose him! Highly recommend his services!

Do not go here. Erin who is not management in anyway stalked my social media profiles and contacted my family members. When I messaged the office to inform them I was not happy and upset instead of contacting me she again contacted my family and then sent screenshots of private communications to my family and told them she was sorry for offending me. This is a violation and completely unacceptable. When I contacted the office the little girl messaged back with no apology and acted like I was in the wrong. Again they violated my privacy and it was utterly and grossly unprofessional.

Excellent care! I had to have an emergency root canal and they were able to get me in immediately. Dr. Hamling explained everything to me and he worked quickly! Definitely recommend

During Covid-19 I had excruciating pain come in an instant, leading to severe headache, teeth feeling frozen and cold air consistently moving through, nausea and pain so bad I cried. I was blessed Dr. Samson Summit Dental came in just for me as I left an emergency message. He had his office call BSE to see if I could get in that day. They said I could get in right then. Their staff was extremely helpful, caring, conscious of sanitation which was a huge concern of mine. Erin was an angel, she chatted with me genuinely, made me feel comfortable, explained exactly what they were going to do and what could possibly happen- a root canal, which Dr. Hamling could do in 20 minutes. Dr. Hamling made me feel safe and comfortable, knowing I might have to have a root canal. They ensure the anesthesia has worked before they do anything, explained again what was going to happen. I enjoyed my time there, would recommend them to anyone and would get another root canal any day with his team. Thank you sincerely for your empathy, selflessness, sense of humors, knowledge and grace with your patients. I will never forget the care you gave!

After Dr.Hambling performed a root canal my toothache became consistently worse radiating to my eye and ear. I called his office 4 days after the procedure was performed and was told to seek medical treatment at an urgent care center. I subsequently consulted with a periodontist who extracted the tooth. Needless to say I am now free from pain.

Dr. Hamlins is always super fast and efficient at what they do. He's constantly working on several people at once, so you don't have him sitting next to you the whole time, but I don't see how it much matters. The few times I saw him, he was no BS, and straight to the point, which I found refreshing. He didn't let me waste money on things I didn't need, just told me his professional opinion and got it done fast. Also as a bonus, this guy is the best at administering Novocaine shots that I've ever had. I literally did not feel the needle at all, and he didn't even use any topical gel to numb it before. 100% Recommend.

I can not tell you how helpful Dr Hamling and his staff were! My son and I were on a 2 week camping trip passing thru Boise and I had a dental emergency. I can not put into words how much I appreciated them. Thank you so much you truly were a God sent. Mike and Ross Melby

The Doctors and staff themselves are very kind and nice people, however several times I have tried to call due to my schedule I normally call around 4:20-30ishand pay my bill and many times I have gotten the voice machine stating they are out of the office and will open tomorrow but they are open till 5 Monday-Thursday: Frustrating when you are calling during times they should be open but just get the voice mail saying they aren't there. Please open and answer phones till the time you are scheduled to be closed. Again though the doctor and staff are very sweet.
