Big River Restaurant features eclectic, fresh, northwest cuisine using local organic produce, natural meats, sustainable seafood, and Big River breads. We pride ourselves on farm to table eating. Big River has a large variety of dishes great for a professional lunch or special occasion dinner. It's fairly expensive, but most of what they offer seems to be local and/or of good quality.
Their service has been friendly and accommodating, too, which is saying a lot because I've been part of a large group eating there and they still impressed us with their punctuality and helpfulness.

Probably one of the best happy hours in town! Great value for both food and drinks. Limited happy hour menu, but delicious items. It's also great for those who want to enjoy happy hour but work until 5pm.

Good food, service was subpar for the quality of restaurant. Be prepared to spend a lot. Desserts are phenomenal. Nice atmosphere.

So when it comes to the wait staff it feels as if they are inexperienced and lack the true elegance of needed true customer service. Simple explanation; when we order  a soda would be greatly appreciated to actually be delivered. Having to ask another server for the drink is ridiculous. It’s going through the grapevine this place is selling. If that is the case I would like to come in as a consultant and offfer training apparatus’s to show the newer staff of how the customer really wants to be treated. Please understand it is all about the customer experience. I wish this company the best of luck.

Our second venture to downtown Corvallis after moving to rural Benton county three years ago from Bend. We had the rigatoni and sea food chowder both of which were excellent , not sure about the Caesers salad, good taste but a different take on that dressing. Bread was really good also. Service was excellent. Prices were reasonable. We'll be back.
