"We’re Big River Bowling, and we’ve been a bowling alley here in Davenport, Iowa, since 2016. We offer private rooms, a bar and grill, an arcade, and more. We started this business because we wanted to provide a place for families to enjoy themselves. We’re looking forward to partnering with Scott, Linn, and Rock Island Counties to continue to offer a fun, safe experience for everyone. I really enjoyed this bowling alley. Plenty of lanes and the food is cheap. There were a lot of crushed nachos in my nacho order, only complaint. Clean restrooms ,decent bar. We didn't check the arcade area out. They had bumpers and ramps for the kids. A good place to go with kids if you are in the quad cities area.
Took my 4yr old daughter to the arcade section. She loved it! Very clean and great prices and prizes. Everything was very new. The games were fun for both of us. Definitely a great spot to get away from the heat or the rain. Very fun!
Not the most advance bowling alley. To have the bumpers up for the little ones, they are manually pulled up by staff and stay up for the whole time. The Arcade area is nice, and the food was good. Overall is a good time.
First time trying this place. It was cool. Not really over crowded for a Friday night. A Lot of reviews complained about the food. They get a 10 from me. The food was fresh and hot, brought to my table promptly. I was even more surprised About the pricing. 2 people 2 games plus shoe rental was $25. Will definitely be going back soon. Didn't get a chance to try the arcade. Nice place to chill and hang out. They have a bar...if you're a drinker.
1st time here. Excellent kind staff. Very clean. Priced right. After bowling we enjoyed the arcade as well. Highly recommend. We will for sure return!
Love bowling at Big River. Now that they have indoor putt putt like Puttshack in Chicago. This one is better and closer.
I have been bowling here for 20 years in leagues! Every one of those years we have had end of year banquets and holiday parties where we all have a pot luck. Now the owner has stopped that totally because she doesnt want outside food! Well i am a HUGE part of the bowling community and i will do everything to make sure business stops!!!!
d the game from there. Bowled another frame. And game stopped again. Said see front desk for another game. Family next to us has gotten nachoes. Husband goes to request a refund for the food and I go ask to fix the bowling game so we can finish. They state there are no refunds but the sign is not posted where food is ordered and only is on a sign stating where open bowing is prepay. Family next to us gets a whole pizza and nachoes. This was a second separate order we heard them go make. 10 mins later. It’s now 6:28 and they bring out the food in to go boxes. We just want a refund because because at that point we got to frame 9 and it turned off again. Manager said he didn’t have authority to do a refund because it’s on a card. Told us to call back tomorrow to ask the owner. Asked for his information and didn’t want to give a last name even though he was the manager. Refund in cash was given after he called the owner who he initially refused to call because the police were called. Police agreed and said if not posted in the place where food is ordered, they’d have to refund. Especially after waiting an hour and a half. Officer also stated he legally should have given his first and last name if he is the manager in charge. Overall, food was slow. Bowling was spotty. Customer service was terrible.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff. They have an arcade and a new upscale putt putt golf course. Very cool facility.
Prices are affordable. Building and equipment are pretty worn and used. We had a group of 8 and had a fun time
