Big Leagues

Just ok - Typical pub grub for lunch. Tried out the three little pigs burger with fries. The fries were short cut limp without crisp and just warm. The burger was ok but I think it was missing a bit of character. Perhaps the lack of bbq sauce or perhaps a strong cheese would have completed it. The lunch meat was a meh. I would would have preferred bacon. Wife had the Dads BBQ meatloaf which tasted more like a purée than what I grew up with. Basically it’s nice to try but not our thing. The onion rings were nice and the cornbread was just eh. Daughter had the cheese pizza which was just ok. Service was on point. No complaints there. Washroom needs to be cleaned and have the toilet in men’s bolted to the floor. I nearly tipped the thing over

Went there for the first time this evening with my family and I must say it was a welcoming environment. Our server who I believe was named Angel was absolutely amazing. She was extremely helpful and beyond friendly and accommodating. This young lady definitely made my first impression a great one and because of her superb hospitality as well as the amazing food, I will definitely be back.

We tried the Bayer’s Lake location tonight, they opened less than 2 weeks ago so keep that in mind.Drinks came quickly, app came quickly and then we waited over an hour for our food. When it did come it was bad. The meat was extremely dry and hard on the sandwich and burger, and on my sandwich cold. I have never sent anything back before but this was just not what I was looking for after waiting an hour. Our server was Emma, and she was AMAZING 20/10 this girl deserves a raise. She was very understanding and sweet. She spoke to the manager who comped our meals and gave us a free desert. Although the food wasn’t good we would go back once they’ve been there a little longer to see if it improves, but honestly mostly just because the customer service was so good. Thank you Emma!

We came for supper and it was fantastic! Food and service by Emily was super good.

Menus says they have gluten free items but there was none when we visited. Server was very confused as to what beer they had and what if anything was gluten free. Place looked nice and clean and part of the table got goot sweet potato fries. We just came because north Brewing tap room was closed.

We went here Friday night for our wedding anniversary. Always enjoy the atmosphere and the food. Looked forward to the best beef dip ever but this night the cook sent out a bowl of drained hamburger juice for the dip. Crystal, the best gal behind the bar, took it back and then was told this was the dip and to give it back to me. Wow. Just an awful plate of food.

Excellent quality food, servers are very polite and helpful, great portion to price ratio. Can not recommend this place enough

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Hanna is the best bartender in Halifax. Four televisions at the bar. West coast IPA worth the visit.

Great neighborhood pub.. Food was generous portions.. Leah the server was great . We're setting up for band . Looked like gonna be good night
