This awesome brewpub in beautiful Solon Iowa is a great place for everyone. Very clean and well kept. Amazing staff. The food menu will definitely please. I had a pepperoni pizza. Simple but delicious. The beer was amazing. There is also a wide variety of liquor.
We sat outside by the fire. My husband had a wonderful craft brew, I had an apple brandy old fashioned that was to die for. The food was amazing, I love the twists on the old classics. Even the kids' meals were quality, no shuffling them off with frozen fries warmed up and a hockey-puck burger. The atmosphere was lovely.
Really great service. Food came fast and burgers tasted great! Almost a 5 star would really go more like 4.5, but appetizer menu left little to be desired. Would recommend.
Would you rather pay to travel to Napa Valley for the farm to table experience or take the short drive to Solon, IA for the best food in Iowa? Each entree we’ve had at Big Grove in Solon has rivaled the cuisine we’ve had in St. Helena. This place is an absolute gem.
Had lunch here in early August- our first dine-in experience since the pandemic. Tables on patio were properly spaced and staff consistently wore masks and gloves. We felt very safe! And the food and cocktails were excellent.
