Nice chicken place. Got the hot honey sandwich and an extra tender with the tandoori sauce to dip. The sandwich was good. They do 2 white meat tenders instead of the thigh that other places in town tend to do. I was expecting a lot more hot honey, the honey flavour was barely there, the chicken was the main focus. Their "hot" is not hot at all which surprised me. I enjoyed the individual tender, but the best part was the tandoori dipping sauce which was very good. I think both the tender and sandwich would have been better with the chicken doused in this sauce! Price was right, food was good.
Ordered Big D's via Uber Eats for my birthday; it was tasty! The food traveled well for delivery and was in great condition when we got it. We ordered the classic chicken sandwich medium heat with waffle fries and coleslaw. The fries really were fantastic- the Smokey sweet seasoning was unexpected and really delicious. In terms of the sandwich the chicken was so so tender and the brioche bun and pickles were wonderful. I really wish there was more sauce or heat on the sandwich though- maybe I should have ordered hotter than medium. It definitely wasn't dry just really would have been perfect with more sauce. Great meal, but consider moving up a spice level if you want something with a bit more kick.
Ordered the 3 strip special that comes with an in-house juice. Chicken portion was generous and well cooked great breading and not dry. I got a medium spice level which is fairly hot. The hot honey sauce was great and the coleslaw was tasty. I didn't enjoy the cinnamon in the peach juice but it was an interesting taste. I would return to try the chicken sandwiches. Our new favourite in the town!! Every item on their menu is super delicious and beautifully decorated and served. Their special we believe is the honey chicken, yum yum! Definitely worth the price and a cool spot to eat in in the middle of Kitchener downtown, shout-out to the entire staff at this location for your incredible service. I went with my colleagues. I ordered a sandwich, but they didn't ask how spicy I wanted it at first. It turned out to be too spicy for me, so I told them, and they gave me a milder one for free. The second one was better but still a little spicy, maybe because they use the same oil. I only managed a few bites, but the sandwich was really tasty, especially with the yummy fries. We got a free dessert, which was fantastic. My colleagues liked their spicy sandwiches, but I'm not a fan of spice. I'd like to return, but I'm a bit worried about the spiciness. I hope they can offer some dishes with no spice at all.
The food has best seasoning and the chips were so crunchy and delicious! Chicken is my favorite food and their was the best! Great experience! Definitely recommend! Also they give us some free chicken they said it is because they had some delay in preparation but Actually I did not bothered at all, I think it was their generosity! Thanks big D team!
Delicious chicken - juicy and tender but also crispy on the outside! The waffle fries are also amazing! We got the $14 chicken tender combo that comes with 3 pcs chicken tenders, waffle fries, coleslaw, pickles and a tractor drink. It was a great deal and the portion was really good. The strawberry dragonfruit tractor drink was really good. My only thing was I wish the hot honey was sweeter, as it was more on the spicier side. The Smokey chipotle sauce was great though. We sat outside as the weather was nice and it was lovely. Definitely would come back again to try something else!
Delicious flavourful food and great service! Make sure to check them out, everything was fresh and the light batter on all the chicken was really good. Despite being deep fried nothing was greasy which is always a plus in my books! Great success on their opening day! Congratulations Food: 4/5
Tried this new place in downtown and the experience was amazing I haven’t tried any chicken burger so tender and juicy from inside. I tried chicken tikka burger and hot honey chicken burger and I must say they both was mind blowing loved the sauce used in tikka burger and their loaded fries was just perfect. I would definitely recommend this place and it’s 100% halal.
IT’S an AMAZING spot with tasty food, unique flavours and fun atmosphere. The house made chipotle sauce is TO DIE FOR, waffle fries, coleslaw and pickles were a wonderful accompaniment to the delicious sandwich. The turmeric organic drink is very thirst quenching during the hot weather & far more enjoyable than water and pop and also has some health benefits ; Kudos to the owner for opening such a unique spot to the area.
