Big Cedar Campground

Story

Big Cedar Campground is a very friendly place to be. We accomodate you to the very best of our ability. We have 50 sites available to you which will accomodate anything from tents to RVs. All of our sites have water and electric on them, along with 9 sites that have sewer, water, and electric. We even have pull thru sites for your convenience. Our clean and tidy bathhouse has flush toilets, sinks, showers, and hand dryers. There is also a laundry room connected to the bathhouse. At our campground we have a playground where you can choose to play basketball, badmitton, volleyball, tether ball, horse shoes; build a sand castle; swing on the swings; have a picnic at our pavillion and use the charcoal grill; go swimming, biking, or jogging. Come up to the office and check out any of the items you need to play with. We are right smack dab in the middle of the attractions in the Upper Peninsula, such as Tahquahmenon Falls, Seney Wildlife Refuge, Pictured Rocks, Garlyn Zoo, Oswald Bear Ranch, etc. We also have kayak, canoe, and tube trips down the gorgeous Manistique River and through parts of the Seney Wildlife Refuge! Tube trips are approximately 45 minutes long and a ton of fun. The canoe/kayak trips range from 2 1/2 to 4 hours long and are also a lot of fun.
