Great customer service, the food was excellent. Breakfast was outstanding. Try the meat lovers skillet, and the meatloaf dinner was the Bomb!!! Everything was very fresh. The wait time is very short. The ladies that wait on you are pleasant and helpful. Will return and eat here again.

The Big Apple Family Restaurant of Freeport Illinois offers. Offers the hometown vibe and has great consistency. When I am in town I know what to expect which is very appreciated. From the hours of operation which is consistent daily 7 days a week to the food which is offered at a good value.

I usually love coming here! Lately it hasn’t been very friendly, staff wise. This last time I ordered after I got off of work and I waiting by the drive through window for 10 minutes before someone came. The man who helped me was very rude and seemed mad that I was at the window. Not pleased with my last few encounters.

Friday fish fry is the best. Great fried walleye and cod!! Bang for your buck!

You won't go away hungry. Chicken stir fry is great, enough for two or three meals.

Excellent service and breakfast was fantastic. Had all meat skillet and was a good size portion and I loved it . Friend had Swedish pancakes and they too were perfect. Good prices . Will definitely dine here again.

They have the best coffee I don't know what it was about it but I usually use cream and sugar and needed nothing it was delicious coffee along with my skillet breakfast which was made very very good it was all hot it was all very delicious. The Big Apple has awesome waitresses I can't say anything bad about this place!
