Excellent soup dumplings! Highly recommend the classic pork and the beef and cilantro. Cash only for this small venue. Food came out quickly and server was attentive. There menu is rather small. They have many varieties of soup dumplings and some small appetizers plates. One of the best dumpling shops in Montreal!
A nice little place to stumble upon. This place only does soup dumplings. We had the pork and beef & cilantro. Both were delicious, however the beef ones were better. You can watch The dumplings being made by hand. Seaweed salad and cucumber salad were great accompaniments.
Maybe the best Xiao Long Bao I've tried in Montreal. Their soup dumplings are delicious, the filling is juicy, fresh and nicely seasoned. The dough has a nice texture, pretty firm and holds well. If you handle it carefully, it doesn't rip as easily like some other dumplings. Broth is also fantastic. A few appetizer options are available on the menu, but the main event is the xiao long bao. The ambiance is cosy. The staff was friendly. Reasonable price for portion size. Overall, would definitely recommend this place if you're craving soup dumplings.
I find the skin thicker. Taste pretty good but i do prefer Sammi instead. Nothing special about the chocolate soup dumplings. Was expecting rich and creamy but it tasted like melted chocolate chips in the dumpling. Will definitely try this place again.
As good as China! I first tried this place a year ago and it was just okay, but they've refined their product so much since then. The skin is thin and you get a mouthful of delicious soup in every one. The service is very mediocre the waitress brought us the wrong order once and called our order by the wrong name another time, but the food is worth it. Also be warned that the water is tap water no ice and there is no air conditioning, so if you're looking to hide from the heat, this is not the place. Each order is made fresh and literally boiling hot inside, and the lamb and cilantro is my favourite though crab is the traditional Shanghai flavour. It is not quite at Shanghai level tasty though those are a national treasure and are always served with red vinegar and julienned ginger, neither of which they had, but I'd say they're about what you would find in Beijing, especially based on the variety of fillings they offer, which is still really impressive for being in a tiny Canadian Chinatown!
The BEST soup dumplings. A little hole in the wall worth ordering from. But the hours aren’t very great - wish they were open more, they deserve the business!
Good soup dumpling restaurant. They are made fresh, good service and tasty. Pork and crab, pork and chive, pork and cabbage were all great. Cash and debit only.
Outstanding food, very original. It doesn't have a lot of variety, but price and quality compensate it. The service is very polite but ,they are understaffed. Little cozy restaurant in the heart of China town in Montreal. A must for the foodies!
This place serves up really good soup dumplings! It's in China Town so if you are in the area and are looking to indulge in these, this is the place to go!
Their xiao long bao were delicious. Take their sweet pork xiao long bao, it's very good. The dough has a good elasticity to it, the filling is amazing and the soup will awaken your senses. Definetly recommend this place.
