My fiance got himself in the dog house with his bad mood this morning, Haha.... He came home with apology cupcakes that are by far the most amazing cupcakes I have ever eaten!! I'm not a huge fan of cakes and cupcakes but these were so moist and the flavours were amazing!!

Cupcakes are great- icing is way too sweet. I'd much prefer a lighter icing.

I always order cupcakes from Beyond the Batter when I celebrate a special occasion and even just because. I personally think they have the best cupcakes in Ottawa! Also they have great service, it's nice to go to a shop where the ladies love what they do!

Saved the day when I forgot to do Thanksgiving baking. The cupcakes were all delicious and the lady that served us was very polite and helpful. Thanks again!

I will say one thing positive the cupcakes are very good. For this reason and this reason only do I come back but I think it's time I start supporting a business that actually has customer service. I'm not sure what this person name is but my goodness she needs a lesson in how to treat/talk people. As someone who works in customer service you should be excited to see your customers when they walk in, they are after all the ones helping your business grow. If this was the first time I've interacted with her I would just chalk it up to a bad day but this isn't the case. Every time I have come in it is the same attitude and she just looks unhappy to be there. It's kind of sad that I won't be back to enjoy these cupcakes, like I said they are very delicious but I prefer to be treated like a valued customer.
