We visited this Church for Thanksgiving Service. I have been once before about 6 months ago. I was hoping that someone would say hi to me or welcome me as a new person. There were no welcome greeters anywhere. Not 6 months ago nor last Sunday on Thanksgiving.nnThe worship and opening prayer followed by the Sermon were all very good. God can Bless us no matter what.nnThis was my husbands first time and my second time. It was so disheartening that not one person made eye contact or said hello as we exited the sanctuary, stood in the coffee area and then by the lobby area for a few minutes. I actually said to my husband, watch this- we can walk in, grab a coffee and walk out and no one will say a thing….. I was right. I would strongly suggest the Church have greeters and ushers to make new people feel welcome. I doubt that my husband will want to attend a second time. :-
The best church I have been. Pastor Paul is awesome. I really learned each Sunday.
This church has an amazing events calendar! For instance Men's Breakfast the last Saturday of every month for a very reasonable price plus if you have young nephew under 18 years of age they can come for free. There's women's get together once a month as well as Youthful activities. The Pastor in Bethany is an exceptional speaker, keeping close to and following the scriptures while at the same time making it very funny. He has done a series I especially love called The History of the Bible, where he is going through the Bible book by book starting with Genesis.
Senior pastor was away. Associate Pastor, Brennan, was very good speaker. Visiting with family members who had not been for years and were all warmly welcomed. Nice coffee and cookies visiting afterwards too. Very friendly.
The location was perfect for the CCA Christmas Concert
