I lived very close by in the mid sixties and had many devout friends of the faith to which I was linked but never had the direct experience. The love and acceptance by the faithful has lived on in my heart for decades as a sign for the hope for humanity of all faiths.
We attended the wedding of my cousin here. I was born and raised Jewish in Toronto and have never been in this magnificent sanctuary until now. It was worth the wait. We only filled a tiny fraction of the seats here, I hope that it thrives post-Covid.
Attended a wedding there. Very nice venue. Especially thought the entrance corridors were fascinating with posters displaying comic book characters and writers.
Old traditional synagogue in the heart of Toronto. The clergy is awesome. They work tirelessly to ensure there are offerings for all members of the congration and are very welcoming to blended non traditional Jewish families.
