Great price, very clean and a beautiful room. The front desk staff was all terrific but Emna went above and beyond. I have no doubt the other staff would have also. Continental breakfast was fresh, hot and well maintained.
The hotel feels like a throwback to the 70's, since it has not been updated much since then, but lovely, none-the-less. Our only issue was the air conditioning until in the room was very loud. It went on and off all night, despite putting the fan setting to 'on', which kept us awake. Bathrooms are updated, and the beds are fantastic. We would consider staying here again during cooler months.
This is a great hotel in a place that will never be a vacation destination. The staff is warm and helpful. The rooms are clean and well-appointed for a 3-star hotel. The bathroom, including the shower, was 100% accessible with a movable shower bench. And the food at Begbie's, the house restaurant, was amazing -- best pizza I have had in a long time.
The food was okay, but took way too long to arrive. Lovely atmosphere, just need quicker service.
Right away I noticed a musty smell. AC unit is extremely loud. Without it room is too warm. Very loud traffic noise outside.nPlace just felt it needed some TLC
