The History of Best Neighbours
In 1985, Alex and Kathy Tsoukalas, along with their family opened the Best Neighbours Restaurant, in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The restaurant brought the principles of simple authentic cooking together with a warm family environment.
As with all good neighbourhood establishments, the local customers and loyal friends helped to build the Best Neighbours Restaurant into the successful business that continues today. A place where families celebrate, teams come together after a ball game, or holding a business lunch, the restaurant has provided its local customers with a place to call home.
Almost 26 years later, the Oak Street neighbourhood has changed, but, the Best Neighbours continues to be a mainstay in the area, providing warm hospitality, with a menu of hearty Greek and continental cuisine. The restaurant continues to be family operated with the next generation of Tsoukalas family running the business.
