I tried to contact the Kingston best buy 6 times in a row every time I could not get thru and was hung up on. I wanted to see about getting a remote starter with insulation but forget best buy you guys are clearly going down hill and don't need my business. I really appreciate someone picking up and hanging up every time.

I stopped at the Kingston, NY store to purchase an SD card for my Samsung indoor security camera. I needed assistance in choosing the right one and since Best Buy sold the same model, I thought it would be simple. I brought up the model on the Best Buy web page for the salesman to reference. First he said the didn't sell that model in the store and didn't know if it took an adapter with a micro chip or a standard SD card so he suggested that I be safe and buy the combo. Finally, after coaxing he sighed and looked it up. He acted like I was keeping him from something much more important. I just read an article why Best Buy is successful in the world of Amazon. It was due to the service and guidance they provided. I did not experience this today.

Being a technophobe, and not very good with technology I need someone to kind of walk me through things. I have had great success with staff doing just that. The Geek Squad people have also helped when I make errors trying to set technology up. I recommend this store. One issue is that they are sometimes short of staff during busy times or sales. But waiting your turn is something I have learned and it pays off.

I called to inquire about a product and I had to wait about 15 minutes before anyone even answered a phone. That’s ridiculous. At least pick up a call and say “can you please hold”. My question took less than 10 seconds to answer with no exaggeration.

they don't pick up their phones. period. lost a loyal customer - over an hour and no one picked up....wassup amazon. UPDATE (from 1-4 stars): woohoo! after calling the albany store and having them call and they waited 15 minutes to reach someone I was able to speak with one of the store managers who was very nice and apologetic and assured me that no phones were ringing in the store and that actually ALL calls are held by a local hub and distributed as needed. He immediately answered my questions and got me to geek squad who also gave great customer service. totally saved a customer-the workers there are great, the corporate best buy policies are BUNK-stop making your employees clean up your messes!! Let the calls through!!
