Best Bite Donair

The youngest member of our family calls this place, ‘Uncle’s eatery’ and rightly so. This eatery evokes memories of a place probably owned by someone you know who says, “ Make yourself at home”, when you step in. We often get takeaway and each time it satisfies a differnt hunger. My favorites are the chicken burrito bowl and regular poutine. The burrito bowl is slathered with sauces of your choice and is damn delicious! The spiced chicken with the sweet garlic sauce is quite so perfect. If it is comfort food you are after, do give the burrito bowl a try. The people who run this place keep it charged with warmth and friendliness.

Had the best donairs and poutine ever. Super flavorful and fresh ingredients as always. Will definitely be returning. Owners are super nice and really welcome you in.

The best poutine in town. This man's been in the in this restaurant for 15 years. I've been going here since he was on Granville, he still recognizes my dog and gives him treats. 5* guy 5* establishment. 5* playlist.Food: 5/5

We ordered mix plate but there was like no meat and food tastes really bad and also he was very rude to customers because we just asked glass water and we are shocked to hear that he just refused to give us water. my mistake that we have trusted reviews there but we saw that portion was really less it’s a waste of money we are never coming back here. Too many doner in same stree so literally avoid this one.

Great staff and owner, good size Donair for the price. Everything made and carved to order like it should be. Uses Costco fries which is actually a plus to me, they have a good crunchy outside. I'll certainly make more trips here

Do not go here. The owner is SO rude, horrible customer service, the food is over priced and it tastes horrible. The owner himself is condescending and incredibly rude. The way he treats the women working there is so heartbreaking. I wonder if it was because I am a woman or if he treats all his customers this poorly. I tried to be so nice when he added a bunch of extra sauce when I asked him not to. I have never been so disrespected in my life. This was a one time and never again experience for me. I hope the woman working behind the counter telling him to calm down is able to get out as well.

I had the chicken shawarma salad - very good and fresh tasting. Lots of flavour and decent portion size. Compared to other salads in downtown, the price is reasonable for the quality. The couple that owns this store are very hardworking, nice people.

This place is the best shawarma in Vancouver hands down. Body, protein size and taste are excellent. Tahini sauce here is a must try.

The lamb donaire plate was terrific. They say the secret is in the sauces and the salsa verde and garlic were my favorites. The plate was fully loaded with salad and rice. We split it between 2 of us and it fueled us the whole day. When I left I forgot my backpack with my cell inside and the friendly owner/ chef kept it safe for me until I was able to return later.

I don’t know if it was the drinks I had beforehand but I think this is the best donair I’ve had in Vancouver. Asked for a single pita wrap fully accepting the risk of breakage. Extra turnips trust me. Garlic sauce. Chicken. Excellent service and even more excellent donair .
