Bertha Brock Park is a hidden gem located in the heart of Michigan, in Ionia County. Established in 1931, the park offers nearly everything a park can offer…..even just a quiet walk with nature.

Story

Bertha Brock Park has picnicking, camping, lodge rentals, and hiking trails. The 200 acre County of Ionia Park offers everything a park can offer, even a quite walk with nature. Campsites are rustic, and 1st come 1st served, at $15.00 per night. All other areas may be reserved for your needs. Some events that take place each year are reunions, weddings, picnics, open houses, receptions,outdoor winter sports, and reenactments , just to name a few. Please contact the park office in order to consult and reserve an area for your needs. Please call for more rental information. (* every fathers day weekend the entire park is rented for the annual SCA event*)

The disc golf course is challenging in a good way if it's not too hot outside. However the bathrooms were absolutely destroyed.

I went there for their annual squabbit hunt. It was amazing. Everything was set up great the coordinators had everything ruining smoothly and on time. This was the first time that I had went but have heard about it for years. They served breakfast and lunch for us and had giveaways once the even t was over. We will check it out again next year.

Really enjoyed this place. Cost $2 to get in per car but totally worth it. Well maintained even in the fall they blow the leafs from the path. Signage could be a little better to lead you to the next tee pad.

We celebrated our daughter's wedding and reception at Bertha Brock and we couldn't ask for a most beautiful place. Althouth a little further out from GR, closer to Ionia.

Beautiful and historical Palmer lodge. Plua frisbee golf, sledding and so much more!
