My brother was arrested after a Friday night that turned for the worst. He received multiple charges, including assault causing bodily harm. Stephen Bernstein met us at court the very next day and got my brother out on bail. My brother was facing a lengthy jail sentence, and for someone with no criminal record, he was terrified at the thought of going to jail. Thankfully, Stephen was able to negotiate a withdrawal on all of the charges. My family was very relieved and we were very pleased with Stephen’s representation and the help of his staff. I have to say the Bernstein Law Group is the best law firm in Hamilton. Thank you for helping us!

This father and son team are without a doubt the best criminal lawyer's in this city .I had gotten .myself into a pickle and i was pretty sure my ass was going in to do some noticeable time. But guess what folks ??i received a slap on the wrists for my crimes.This would of never occurred without the amazing and slick work of these 2 amazing attorneys. So if your in a mess call the Bernstein Law Group you won't regret it.

Stephen gave me no reason to even think about looking for a second opinion, everything from A to Z was explained clearly and with confidence, making me feel much better the first time we talked.  He got me before a judge quickly and was always available via phone or email.  A postive experience during a scary time, I would highly recommend.

UPDATED TO RESPOND TO OWNER:
first off- they are correct that I have not been a client of this law firm, however a relative of mine was.

You can blather all you want about how 'respected' Mr Bernstein is, it doesn't change the fact he's a terrible lawyer who doesn't care for or respect his clients, only cares about money, and does not do proper research in cases. Because of his negligence, my relative cannot enter the US now because Bernstein failed to get charges dropped that even the crown was WILLING to get dropped.

Other people we have spoken with too have told similar horror stories. When 4 different individuals we have spoken to tell us pretty much the same thing- a pattern emerges and it's quite clear.

In response to some of the reviews being written by employees- the review Ashley M wrote- is she not your landscaping person? Why would someone you hired to do your landscaping write such a glowing review? Coincidence?

Also the review written by June Prince- she is Mr Bernstein's secretary. What do you have to say to that??

MOST OF THE REVIEWS WRITTEN HERE ARE BY HIS STAFF- DO NOT BELIEVE THE HYPE

Bernstein has a reputation for doing the bare minimum for his clients while billing outrageous sums. He will not do proper due diligence or get you the best deals- his only concern is making a fast buck

I do not know about the son but the father (Stephen) was like this. Avoid at all costs

I am very happy with the results they were able to get for me.  I had Bob as my lawyer and he made me feel comfortable throughout the entire trial.  I couldn't get any sleep as all I was doing was worrying until Bob explained my options and managed to make the whole process easier, and proceeded to get me out of a tough spot in my life.  My family and I appreciate all the hard work and professionalism by Bob and his team and will continue to highly recommend them to everyone in need.
