Story
Bad things happen to good people and I believe in healing the hurt.

I’ve practiced on both sides of personal injury law which is why, today, I focus on helping those who have been injured or denied an insurance claim. I learnt first-hand what it takes to win a personal injury case or reverse an insurance denial.

I’m proud of the firm we’ve built.

We’re not the biggest firm out there because we don’t want to be. When you’re going through a hard time, it’s important to be surrounded by friends, family and people who have your best interests at heart. That’s tough to find in a 300+ lawyer law firm that barely remembers your name.

I would suggest Derek is a superstar amongst personal injury lawyers. He doesn't play the numbers games by drawing clients in with fancy advertising and empty promises. Derek shoots from the hip and keeps you well informed throughout the process. He is open and transparent with his clients and there is no behind the door deals without the clients consent. I can't say enough good things about Derek. I have worked in the insurance industry for many many years and dealt with many of the top injury lawyers in the province. I would put Derek ahead of the pack not only for his knowledge but because of his personal style. A lot of injury lawyers place themselves on high pedestals and tell you to take what they give you, hence they work for themselves with volume and padded fees. Derek works for you and only you. His staff I believe have been especially selected because they share his  vision on how a client should be respected and treated. Taryn goes above and beyond and is clearly a diamond of a legal assistant. Don't get sucked into the hype some personal injuries advertise. Do your homework and I am sure you will decide to go with Derek.

Extremely knowledgeable personal injury lawyer with extensive industry experience in dealing directly with the insurance companies. His reputation and expertise in the industry gives him a greater understanding and insight on how to negotiate with the insurance companies and he always works in the best interests of his clients. He has an edge over his competitors because he has represented insurance companies in the past, and as such has a more in-depth understanding of their internal processes and strategies.  I would highly recommend his services.

I would highly recommend Derek to anyone that has been involved in a motor vehicle accident. If you’re looking for a hard working, trustworthy lawyer, Derek is your guy. Him and his staff were nothing short of amazing throughout the entire process.

I would highly recommend Derek Wilson! He tells you what need to know and tells you how it is...he is very thorough, straight forward and very direct! He told me from the very first meeting about how my case was and what to expect. In the end we got what I deserved! If you want an honest, dependable and hard working lawyer call Derek!

Derek Wilson recently successfully settled my case. When I first met him he was very candid about how we were to proceed with my case as well as what he’s expectations were. I had constant communication with his wonderful law clerks though out the 2 year process that made it easier for me to keep up with what was required for our success. Over all Derek Wilson law provides an outstanding service, prompt response to questions, with helpful guidance and support.
