Well my husband ordered whole belly clams and scallops and he said they were by far the best whole belly clams he has ever had. They were huge and the size of the belly were just enormous. The flavor he said was the best clams he has had. Said next time he's just getting clams . That's why they get 5 stars . The service was excellent. But my meal was not so good. Baked stuffed fish was dry as hell. The stuffing was supposed to be crab meat stuffing I found 1 small piece of imitation crab meat the rest was just dry I think cracker dust the green beans didn't even try them . The baked potato was very good. The fish awful. The clam chowder out of 1 to 10 it was a 5 at best. But we will go back for those clams and I'll get the pot roast I've had it before and it was delicious. So stay tuned and we'll let you know. We'll I went again and I had prime rib and baked scallops, with this I had their scallop potatoes delicious the salad was excellent the scallops were excellent the prime rib was to die for this is the meal that I will get from now on it was absolutely excellent and so much food I had to take half home we never make reservations always are seated within 5 to 10 minutes but we do eat later after 8:00:.

The most food for the price you will find of any place you will ever go. The prime rib is to die for as are their homemade scalloped potatoes. Eating in the dining railroad car is really cool. Staff are the nicest. Cant recommend them highly enough. Reservations are most definitely required!!!

Not as good as it used to be. Prime rib was lacking flavor, green beans were obviously canned, potatoes tasted almost like instant potatoes. The meat portion was huge, so I was certainly satisfied with that aspect. The waitress was flat and I was made to feel like a bother to her. I don't think I saw her smile once. I used to love this place, so I'll give it another shot, but the quality has definitely taken a turn for the worse.

Absolutely fantastic place to eat. Sometimes you have to wait to get a seat. However there is a reason for this. People just love the food so the word is out! It's a great place to eat and the portions are worth the wait. You get what you pay for and then some.

If you willing to wait in line, the food is good and plain; not fancy, not expensive, just good everyday fare. Seafood, prime rib, ham steaks, baked potatoes all the American staples we expect. By the way, they do a great breakfast too..
