Bernie Beigne: A Sweet Spot in Montreal!n•nIf you’re a fan of donuts and find yourself in Outremont / Montreal, Bernie Beigne is a must-visit. This cozy little hole-in-the-wall serves up an incredible selection of donuts that are as flavorful as they are unique. From the classic to the inventive, each donut is crafted with care and bursts with flavor in every bite.n•nThe highlight? The massive apple fritter. It’s not just the biggest apple fritter I’ve ever seen, but also one of the best. Crisp on the outside, soft and perfectly spiced on the inside, it’s an experience all on its own.n•nAdding to the charm is the friendly service that makes you feel right at home. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Bernie Beigne is well worth the stop for a sweet treat.
Here you go the schedule for the holiday season 2024.nThe best donuts I’ve ever tried. Not as sweet as any other I tried and less chemically taste.nI love this place.nP.S. : if you want to try some interesting tastes such as bacon-caramel or Boston cream which is my personal favourite you must come here as early as you possibly can. The place is very popular and crowded so the best ones go fast. But original and Simpson are usually available through the whole day.
Bernie Beigne in Montreal is a fantastic stop for anyone craving delicious, freshly made donuts. However, you can not leave Montreal without trying the apple fritters—they're an absolute must-try! These fritters are huge, packed with flavor, and incredibly satisfying for such a great price. One thing to note is that they’re only served after 12 pm, but trust me, it’s totally worth the wait.nnThe staff at Bernie Beigne are lovely—super sweet and efficient, making the experience even more enjoyable. While there isn’t seating inside, the quality of the food makes it a great place to grab something to go. If you want to avoid long lines, I recommend heading over closer to noon when the crowds tend to thin out.
I’m not a fan of sweets, but this place, they’re working with some type of sorcery here. The donuts? Absolute madness. It’s a relief I don’t live in Montreal, I would’ve been a daily visitor and easily be 50 pounds heavier.nnJokes aside, delicious products, friendly service, and great value. What more do you want? A staple for me any time I visit Montreal. Would love for these guys to open up shop in Toronto.nnFavourite donut was the Boston cream. Spectacular, give me 30 more.
Place is just top notch... If you're a real yeasted donut lover, this is your spot. It's always pretty fresh, dough is clearly handled by people who know fermentation, frying is on point.nnI stick to simpler flavors because I really want to taste the dough. I think some of their filled donuts have *too* much filling. But these are just my preferences - you can't really go wrong, I think.nnPrices are really good too for the size and quality. A glazed donut here is like half the price of a typical croissant, which is amazing. Also, the employees are very kind and efficient without making you feel rushed.nnThe apple fritters are limited, but if you happen to see them, they're a must-buy!
