"Berne Wood-Fired Pizza is open each Wednesday in June, July, and August closed 7/4 serving seven varieties of pizza from 5-8 PM. Two bands perform nightly at 5 pm and 6:30 pm. Money raised helps support nonprofit organizations throughout southeastern Minnesota. Pizzas can be ordered upon arrival or in advance on Eventbrite. We love going to Berne! The pizza is great. The Heart tribute band, "Crazy On You" was phenomenal!
This is a great event that I'd highly recommend. They make excellent wood fired pizza and the entertainment is really good... and free. I can't think of a better way to spend a Wednesday summer evening in this area.
My advice, arrive early. It's a super fun atmosphere, but the later you show, the later your pizza, and this scales exponentially. Arrive at 5, pizza by 530. Arrive at 515 pizza at 615. Arrive at 530, here's your takeout order at 8. Again super fun experience. Another consideration is bring whatever you want to eat. No wait, just great atmosphere. Buy some ice cream. It's 2$, and no wait!
Even though the pizza crust was raw and the cheese barely melted, this place is all about experience. Get there early to grab one of few picnic tables. Or bring your own seats. There is live music and lots of people! There was several art tents selling their art. Expect to walk a little ways because close parking is limited.
This is an outdoor, wood fired pizza dinner. Bring your own beverage and enjoy a free concert and great conversation with friends. They also have some chips and ice cream bars to buy.
Great place to visit! Beautiful music, scenery, and people! And the pizza they serve there is pretty good!
Great if you order ahead online. Delicious pizza! Piping hot from a wood fire oven! We ordered when we got there and it took about two hours but was worth it. Music was nice but loud, sit further out if you are sensitive to loud noises. Good Rock groups. Will go again!
We went last night and loved the food and the music. We ordered 3 pizzas through the advance ordering and it was so seamless! Loved getting to do that so we could enjoy more time with our friends and family versus waiting in line. We can't wait to go back and see Incognito on the 21st!
Wonderful place to spend a summer Wednesday evening. Outstanding pizza, great music, friendly people. Will be back soon with grand kids.
Really cool place on Wednesday nights in the summer. 2 bands from 5-8 in outdoor stage!! Wood fired pizza. Good music. Bring a lawn chair a cooler with your favorite beverage, and get a pizza if you wish!!
