This was my first visit to the Benson Centre .. I was very impressed with their 3 ice pads and full indoor soccer field! The Gloucester Rangers U18 had a really good game .. final score was 4-2 for us!
2 ice hockey surfaces. Semi pro team to watch good hockey games. The Cornwall Prowlers ice hockey team home arena. Benson centre has an indoor soccer field and food at the kiosk. Very clean newish facilities here for sports etc
They don't awner the phone at all. Me and my bf wanted to play badminton but there was no way to tell what times are available on their website, so we end up calling and one time we were able to play for a decent price for about an hour. But last time they wanted us to pay for the whole court for 30 bucks for only 30 minutes total waste. We ended up not going because it wasn't worth it. They also really need to update their website and have better available info in general
What a gorgeous facility. This sporting facility has an indoor field with AstroTurf, ice hockey rinks and open slabs in summer for lacrosse and ball hockey. There is lots of parking. Easy to access through the motion activated sliding doors, over grates on the floor to remove excess snow from wheels. Lots of space, seating and accessible toilets. There are plenty of wheelchair viewing stations. The elevator is in the center of the building. The wide stairs make going up to the second level easy and convenient. The main hall has plenty of café style tables and chairs. The water bottle fountain was right next to the rink 2 doors. The dressing rooms are large and easy to access. They are right off the ice pad so it's easy for players to get on and off. All the pads have toilets located in the spectator stands which is great when you are watching a game with little kids. There is a small canteen with very nice staff. The fries tasted good, maybe because they were very fresh. There is a huge Adirondack chairs out front that kids can climb. The side of the building was perfect for tossing the Frisbee and football around. If you found my review helpful, please give me a thumbs up. Thanks for reading.
As a visitor from the UK, I have to say what a great facility this building is for the whole community. Spacious, well equipped and with plenty of seating and refreshments for spectators the Benson Centre is a great asset to Cornwall.
Well maintained arena. Very well-kept ice and fields. Even the outdoor playground is enjoyable for our children.
Great place for the kids and the community atmosphere is really refreshing.
Best place for skating and fun, lots of ppl coming n going with family's, drive with caution. Poker mon Go friendly
Thanks to the Benson Centre for the new pickleball nets. It's nice to see our tax dollars working for us.
Management has installed brand new pickleball nets with sturdy frames . They are a pleasure to play with. Hats off to management for changing the nets for quality equipment.
