Ordered the apple turnover and a blueberry turnover. The filling was decent and was not too sweet, which is what I like. But there was not a lot of filling in them. The pastry itself was underwhelming, thus rendering these baked good unmemorable. Full disclosure: I've only gone once, I would try it again if I'm in the area.

Staff are friendly and the bakery offers a variety of pastry treats and fresh breads, as well as some freezer items like soups! I especially like that the treats are not overly sweet— hard to find that now a days
Our order today on double points Wed. was Sourdough flax which is my favorite, I am addicted! Freezes really well, no more dry sandwiches. Also got a couple sourdough buns, yumm, and ciabatta buns, so good! We treat ourselves to a pastry once in awhile, so much to choose from. Check out their website.
Was in Harrison area over the weekend and tried a few different pastries but honestly I couldn't understand how the place was rated so high. The service was friendly and nice but the pastries were disappointing. The name of the pastries are escaping me but i tried vanilla slice, one with banana cream, gluten friendly one, and chocolate covered one. Anyway very disappointing for such a high rated place.
I've never been to a business as friendly and fun to shop at. I'm a seniors Tuesday regular and the Ciabatta buns are addictive! My freezer is stocked with their Sourdough Flax grain bread sliced. I think they should franchise their bakery concept
UPDATE: 02/10/2023 I heard from the owner today. We received a gift card reimbursing for the bread plus extra $ for our next visit to Benanna Bakery. Because we loved the sweet baked products and Travis took the time to get in touch, I have changed my star rating and also removed my pictures to be fair. Hopefully the issue won’t occur again. We will give Benanna breads another try in the future months. UPDATE: 02/07/2023 Received an email from Travis, owner? Apologizing and said this was not baked correctly etc and he would forward a credit/ gift card? Or give me a loaf for free for my next visit. I forwarded my email to him and cell but well over a week now and he has not responded nor sent anything via text or email to make me a return customer….yet. Out for a drive from Mission on Saturday. In search of a European bakery with good artisan or grains bread we found Benanna Bakery. Let me first say that the staff was pleasant and patients with my husbands many questions. The sweet baked products are amazing! I.e. Elclair with whip, danish with custard, the strawberry mousse tart, savoury croissant and the almond croissant all a great. The Breads: we chose the dark German rye as we love this type of heavier bread with cheeses. Not opposed to paying the $8 per loaf but the product imo should be perfectly baked. Please see photo and tell me if looks looks right? Completely cracked throughout the middle under mixed plus raw !! See Pictures I was so excited to have this with our evening snack and totally disappointed instead. We also bought a sourdough loaf and although baked through it has so many large holes that it made me wonder about the quality control of the baker at this place. Needless to say we won’t buy bread here again but maybe the sweet items only.
Just an awful service. I ordered the cake on the website 2 days before the delivery. Haven't got my delivery at all. Called the bakery and they said: "we don't have a round cake, we can make only two separated cakes". Thank you for the excellent birthday cake which I haven't got.
We ordered a large selection of pastries for a family function. BenAnna was wonderful to work with as well as everything was delicious. Thank you
Benana has the best and freshest breads and pastries! The service is excellent as well. I always feel so happy after my visit to Benana!
