Ben Thanh Restaurant

First time at Ben Thanh restaurant. We came here as my wife's recommendation... what a great idea it was. We ordered for takeout. We were able to order ahead. The lady on the phone was very helpful while ordering and even gave us some suggestions. She was very polite and professional. The food was amazingly delicious. I can imagine that if it was this good for takeout,l... how awesome and delightful it would be to dine-in. I will definitely come again and will want to enjoy the dine-in experience. Fully recommended

Pretty decent restaurant for a lunch with friends or colleagues. Had lunch here with 4 colleagues recently. The ambience is good, with ample sitting space and parking.Food was great and freshly made.The ginger chicken was alitle salty, be sure to ask for less salt :, the shrimp was delicious. One thing I would have loved,is our orders showing up at the same time.The 5 meals were brought at different times , leaving some of us watching on while others ate away. Spent approximately $140 on lunch for 5. Staff was friendly. I would totally recommend. Happy dinning.

It's a second-time visit and they have a wide range of foods. During Marine service, I use to visit Vietnam often and I felt a similar food flavour here. Their service is good and the seating arrangement is spacious.

Horrible service but that's OK because it saves *you* money when *they* get *no tip*. What constitutes service that doesn't warrant a tip? That's EASY! : 1. Ignore your customers, never ask them if they are ready to order and make them flag down anyone just to be noticed 2. Don't serve them/or even OFFER them water. Ignore them some more! 3. Don't check up on them whatsoever after they have ordered. 4. Make them flag someone down again just so they can get the bill and leave ASAP, as they already don't feel welcomed. That's my experience *everytime* I come alone. With another person? Complete opposite treatment. Either way, unacceptable *BUT HERE'S THE GOOD NEWS* : you save money because you don't feel bad about not tipping them. So it's still a losing situation for them and a win for me. Thanks Ben Thanh, I've saved lots of money over the past few months from your pathetic service

If your a meat and potatoe type of guy. They got you. Had the seafood curry and man. The right amount of heat and full of flavor. Very clean. And filling. And yes they have forks if you don't use chop sticks.Food: 5/5

Always happy to come back to this place, always fresh ingredients, great service, very yummy food, easy ordering process. Very big portions. Large variety of soups is a good choice on a cold day. Thanks

Great food, great service for years now. Group had awesome spring rolls, pad Thai chicken, pad Thai beef, udon noodle chicken and pad siew beef. Every dish was great. Specialty drinks were very good too. Recommend the Vietnamese iced coffee, so good!

Portions were really big and the service was good, but the food was totally bland. I love Thai food generally because it’s so flavourful, but this had little to no seasoning. It wasn’t bad, but I took home most of my dish so I can add some sauces to it at home.

Another place that ignores customers. The food is average as there are a lot of other Thai places even better around. One should not have to flag down wait staff to place an order. Next!Food: 4/5
