Story

We are a family campground that offers RV sites with water/electric/sewer. As well as open or wooded tent sites with no hook ups. Our rustic cottages offer 2 bedrooms, kitchenette, living room and full bath. Kitchenette includes stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, pots & pans, and dishes for four. We offer a 9 hole executive gold course with 7 par 3 holes and 2 par 4 holes. As well as a playground , game room and 20 hole mini golf course.

Our experience was okay. It was mainly campers... Possibly all campers and RVs and very close together. People were building decks and mowing lawns, fixing up their gardens... Not the type of camping we're use to. Everyone drives around in personally owned golf carts so it was pretty busy. Its also .50 to shower so bring quarters if you plan on going. Overall, everyone we talked to was very nice so that made our stay worth while.

We stayed for the Forth of July weekend. The fireworks and party with a DJ were great. As weekend guests you are put into a field with the rest of the weekenders. it was very tight and we have a 20' trailer. We were not able to have a fire until the last night when our neighbors left. This is primarily a seasonal site , most of the seasonals have golf carts and the traffic is noticeable. We played golf at the 9 hole course the greens were good and the course was challenging for beginners like us. Water and electric hookups are fine, the bathrooms are ok, the showers cost 50 cents and the ones closest to us had no hot water, when checking out they said that no one let them know and that the pilot light on the water heater was probably out. The campground is gated and if you need to get in after the office closes a gate pass is needed. We spent most of our time touring Cooperstown and for our needs the campground was good.

Fun being there, people are friendly and a well maintained campgrounds. Owner is a great guy
