Nice spot. Arrived about 1130. Was not busy. Was starting to fill up by 12 so you onow it's a place the locals enjoy. The good Was good. Server was very friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable for the economy now. I would go back.
Had the Brisket which I thought was considered the best thing they had but something was just off about it. The smoke they used was just too strong and off putting and this is coming from a guy who loves bbq. The smoked wings were good. They could have been a little juicier but they were good Fries were the frozen type with a Cajun spice they were good for frozen. Service was good the atmosphere was very enjoyable. Its was lost of customers talking and interacting but it was not at a very loud noise level like some places. It was at a good sensible level where you could talk and interact with friends. It was quiter but not too quiet. It was just right.
We had a great dinner here on a hot afternoon. We sat outside on their new patio. The patio is so nice! Lots of space, big umbrellas, trees and picnic tables. The drinks were good and were a reasonable size and the food was yummy. We will be back again sometime soon!
My mac and cheese with burnt brisket ends was really good and the service was really friendly. The ribs and brisket were dry and over cooked
Food was good, servings great. Seating was comfortable and spacious however some frosted glass between the tables instead of clear would offer more privacy. Prices seemed a bit high for a pub. Service was great!
Had their smoked wings...amazing!! My friend said her burger was really good too! She wasn't a fan of the fries, but we both wanted salads so that could be why. Salads unavailable which is the same everywhere right now because of supply issues and pricing. Staff very attentive and friendly. Would recommend this place

We started with the deep fried pickle chips; they were really good and the sauce was good also! I had the chicken fingers and skins. They were terrible! The fingers were hard and overcooked so bad I almost chipped a tooth! They also had a weird flavored coating and were very thin! The skins were cold and bland. My husband had the chicken and waffle sandwich. Again the chicken was hard and overcooked but tasted half decent. The bathrooms were freezing! Our waitress was very good and my Singapore sling was very good.
Food is always good. Some of the best pub food I have ever consistently eaten. We enjoy stopping there when coming home to Halifax from visiting relatives and friends in NS.Food: 4/5
Great place in the heart of Truro to eat at. One of two bars to stay open till 2am on the weekends. The food is great, service is decent too. Anything off their smokehouse menu is great tasting. In the summer, their outdoor patio is great, along with the fenced in'ness and the umbrellas in a very open back lot. During the bar night on the weekend, it provides a good dance floor and seating both on ground and a upper area suitable for groups duos or that single looking to mingle individual.
