Doggo managed to do something traumatic to his eye, or perhaps a spider did... It's hard to say. He looked fine when he got in the truck, but on the highway, when I looked over at him his eyeball was huge and puffy! Instead of continuing to my destination, I exited the highway knowing that there was an animal hospital just minutes away, which happened to be Bellevue veterinary hospital. When I came in, I asked the dog to stand up at the receptionist's counter, and she had a good look at him, which immediately identified the issue! They were fabulous here. This was the first time I have been to the office, as our regular vet is in the opposite direction, closer to home. But they did not turn us away, the Doctor checked him over, reassured me and prescribed an anti-inflammatory, they offered to send records to the regular vet in Nanaimo, and made a plan for the next few days if nothing changed. The swelling went down within hours of treatment and I can confidently say that we were received here with great care and I would not hesitate to recommend this business and the people who work here. Many thanks to you all, doggo is also grateful!!
Our senior dog has a few health issues. Dr Dahl took the time to ensure we had all the information we needed to proceed with getting some tooth extractions and a cyst on his eye. Such a great vet. 5 stars to him. Parker is happy and doing well. Thank you Dr Dahl!
I am just so grateful to have found this clinic. They are so caring and supportive. The customer care when I call in is like nothing I have ever experienced. I just feel they are there for your pet in any way they can be. Thank you so much!
I called for a total quote for a male cat to get fixed they said 300$. I went in and there was very poor communication, ended up costing 540$ without even basic blood work 150$ extra, and he came home with an ear infection. Don’t go here. Go to fantastic beasts, much better.
My dog had an allergic reaction, and the staff here were super supportive. They squeezed me in for an appointment the same day and gave a lot of advice and resources on the phone too
