Bella Coola Mountain Lodge

Had the pleasure of staying in the Bella Coola Mountain Lodge for three days during September 2017. Perfect location (a car is necessary no matter where you stay in the Valley In my opinion) walkable to a grocery store and to a wonderful organics store. Dinner at the lodge was incredible and by far the best meal we had in the region. Lovely owners and basic but very clean rooms. Would revisit the lodge for sure!

Charming lodge in Bella Coola with a fantastic restaurant and decent continental breakfast (would have been nice to have some hot items like bacon, sausage and eggs...even if you had to pay extra). The rooms are just so so and could use an update, but everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable with a kitchenette, fridge and stove . From what I saw in the area, this is the most upscale place you will find on the beaten path and the people that run the place are lovely.

Hospitality was wonderful. We rolled into town around midnight and they only had one room left. They put us up and gave us an extremely reasonable rate, as they only had a large 3 bed suite available and it was just my husband and myself. Room was very clean and full of character, and a nice view to boot. Continental breakfast was included, it was very simple, but covered all the basic nutrients. Definitely impressed.

We had a wonderful stay at the Bella Coola Mountain Lodge. The staff was extremely helpful with advice on local sites to visit, and helping us with our travel plans. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the food in the attached restaurant was excellent. This was our first visit to Bella Coola and will not be our last. The drive through the Chilcotins to Bella Coola is not to be missed by anyone who enjoys a roadtrip with great scenery and wildlife viewing.
