Always delicious food in the deli area. Fresh produce & wonderfully stocked whole foods on the shelves. Helpful staff with a smile. Plus it smells like home when you walk through the door! Love this place.

I don't think I can rave about this place enough! I have a sensitive digestive system and clean palate, so finding yummy clean prepared food I can digest easily is a challenge - and I just got loads of stuff from the deli!! It's very reasonably priced for what it is, and everyone was so helpful. I didn't find brands of packaged snacks that I like, but I'd rather have the fresh food anyway.

If you want organic, locally grown foods (in season), Belfast Co-op is a great place. The products can be a bit more expensive, but I like knowing it's only a few hours old rather than days on a truck old. The little eatery has many options for both meat and non-meat eaters. From veggie burgers to sandwiches and wraps, all made to order and fresh. Being a member also has perks.

Stopped in for breakfast Wednesday 8/16 9:30a. Not very impressed. They keep the scrambled eggs and home fries in a warmer. Food was just warm, not very flavorful. Toast was hot though, since they do toast to order. Paid about $8.50 for a very mediocre breakfast. Won't be back anytime soon. ..btw, when I was paying, cashier asked if I was a member. I said no, but she never asked if I wanted to join and the advantages there of. Maybe they've grown too big for their own good and don't need new members. Can't imagine though.

Probably the biggest, certainly the best Co-op in the mid-coast. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Great wine selection. And don't miss the homemade sausage.
