Was in Guelph for a business meeting and came across Beertown on a search for a lunch place. The restaurant is quite big, designed well and was quite busy for a Wednesday afternoon which led me to believe that I had made the right choice! We were greeted by a smiling hostess and quickly led to our table. The menu is concise with just the right mix of dishes agreeable to most people. Both of us somehow decided on fish dishes - Fish tacos as well as fish & chips !nThe tacos were delicious and fish cooked perfectly. The fish and chips were also quite flavourful even though the fish was a bit softly fried rather than my preference for crisply !!! Yet the flavours were there and the house tartar sauce was great . Service was excellent and the staff are quite friendly
Friendly staff and amazing service. Can't say anything bad about this place. Beer is great, food is fantastic and the vibe is always fun and lively. When you finish having your amazing meal you absolutely must get the sweet board. You will love it!!!! This place is a must and you'll keep coming back.
Awesome experience at BeerTown! Despite a mix-up with our reservation, the manager, Mary Ann made it right with complimentary appetizers and top-notch service. Impressive recovery by the team at BeerTown! They turned a mistake into a memorable experience with their kindness and generosity. Cheers to great service!nnBeerTown rocks! Friendly staff, great food, and excellent service. Karley is the best server! So attentive to our needs! Nicole also made sure coffee, water were refilled. Definitely going back!nHighly recommend!
I called ahead to see if their patio is dog friendly and they said yes no problem. My pup was dying of cancer so this was one of his last outings, it broke my heart knowing it was going to be one of his last days. He was having a hard time eating so I started home cooking him meals. Conrad & Tammy came out to give their sympathies and so did some kitchen staff as well. They cooked him his favourite, steak. He was so happy to be out and eating one last time. Thank you team, I appreciate it so much for helping my baby boy. He passed a few days later but I’m happy I got this moment with him.
It's all about the mocktails and good fish tacos for me and this place has both!nMy sisters and I enjoyed a sunny patio lunch a few weeks ago. Our server was really engaging and at one point a manager came to ask if everything was good. Love this location.
