What a fantastic experience! We enjoyed a delightful Sunday brunch. An all you can eat experience which features both a buffet table and “small bites” made fresh on order. Brendan and the rest of the crew provided only the friendliest and most attentive service. The food, delicious! Too many favs to choose just one, but the tapas style servings you can try them all! Highly recommend making a reservation for a table as they are busy. Can’t wait to go back.
Came as a work group for a holiday lunch. Everyone raved about their lunches - most of the group got the turkey and Brie sandwich but I had the smoked trout sandwich with an upgraded squash salad. It was delicious. Service was great. It was really busy but no issues at all. I want to go back for the Sunday brunch.
Love this place - probably my favourite restaurant in Guelph!nnI used to go regularly back when they were the Bread Bar but recently went for the first time since they changed to Bardo and it's still just as delicious!nnDelicious food, great drinks, friendly staff, and nice atmosphere. Can't go wrong here :
We came for the Sunday Brunch for the first time and found it to be a unique but overall a pleasant experience. Unlimited coffee was offered and the cocktail drinks offered with the brunch were fine Caesars, mimosas and chai sparkling drink.nnTheir buffet bar had a plentiful selection of sweet and savoury offerings. One of the highlights was their miso rainbow trout from the buffet bar - it was perfectly cooked and well seasoned.nnIn addition to this, the ordered brunch dishes had a decent selection of your breakfast classics along with some more unique dishes such as brisket hash and chicken and waffles. It's an ideal brunch restaurant for someone who enjoys trying lots of different options instead of committing to a single dish.nnThe interiors are an interesting mix of industrial and farmhouse but seemed a bit indecisive. Service was good but staff could be a bit more knowledgeable about what was offered and allergy considerations.
This was my partner and I’s second visit to Bardō, and it trust me when I say it won’t be the last. We absolutely fell in love with their pizza the first time we came, so of course we had to have it again. They also sell their pizza dough so if you’re like us and don’t live near there, you can take it home and make it yourself though it will not be as good as they do it. I had the squash and beet salad with whipped feta, which was so fresh and balanced. We also shared the skinny fries, which were crispy and seasoned perfectly. Since it’s the holiday season, I tried their dark and cherry seasonal cocktail, and I have to say it was a perfect winter indulgence. Everything about this place, from the food to the ambiance, is just spot on. Highly recommend to anyone coming to Guelph!
