Whether you’re there for the nostalgia or just to let loose, Beercade’s got you covered.nnThe game selection is fantastic—classics like Pac-Man and Street Fighter, plus all the pinball machines you could ever want. It’s almost impossible to pick just one; next thing you know, you’re on a mini tour of retro gaming heaven. And the drinks? Perfectly chilled craft beers, creative cocktails, and just the right amount of local flavor. There’s something uniquely satisfying about crushing your high score with a cold one in hand.nnBottom line? Beercade is a total win. It’s not just a bar, it’s an experience—one that makes you feel like a kid again but with way better taste in beverages.
Atmosphere is nice however the service is terrible. As always, you are attended to and treated nicely only if you are white, or just attractive to When i attended beercade for the first & last time, i was faced with discrimination because of my ethnicity. I first asked a question to a white young woman working at the front who takes the entry fee, but when i asked a short quick question about the price, she responded with attitude and sass. After that i proceeded to try and pay however i didn’t know where to pay as i was using cash and so she rudely directed me to the other counter. Same story with the other worker at the next counter… she treated me with no respect and just like a piece of trash. Such a bad experience here.

The atmosphere is pretty good, the food? I can get the same in a freezer at the grocery store.nThere is no “people skills” whatsoever. They say first impressions are ever lasting well!, that’s not wrong about this place.
Disheartening Experience with Discriminatory ServicennI recently visited Beercade with my cousin and sisters, and while we initially enjoyed the atmosphere, our experience was soured by the bartender's poor and dismissive treatment. As four young women of color, we had been having a great time, especially thanks to DJ Alize, who was kind and created a fantastic vibe.nnHowever, when I approached the bar to order four shots and juice to chase, the bartender photo provided served the shots but ignored my request for juice. After politely reminding her, she dismissed me and walked away without acknowledging my request. When I tried again, she raised her hand in my face and told me she was busy, and that I would have to wait. She then walked away again. It wasn’t a particularly busy night at the bar, and I don’t believe it’s unreasonable to expect that she would complete an order before moving on to the next customer.nnFeeling uncomfortable and offended, my sister tried to speak with her calmly, hoping to resolve the situation. Unfortunately, when my sister returned, she confirmed that the bartender remained uncooperative and dismissive. It was clear that no matter how kindly we tried to approach her, the service remained rude and unfriendly.nnBy the end of the night, it was hard not to feel that our treatment was influenced by racial bias. The way we were treated was uncalled for, especially in an environment that should be welcoming and inclusive for all customers. We left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable, and I hope the management takes this issue seriously and works to ensure all patrons, regardless of background, receive equal and respectful service.
