I purchased 3 yards of #2 round river stone and 2 yards of topsoil, total cost 261.36, delivered(one mile radius). Stone was as expected. Topsoil was sub standard mix of clay, sand and lots of pebbles. Told by Beckers the topsoil was screened. As a result, grass seed planted could not be sufficiently watered in order to retain moisture. The topsoil turned rock hard after watering, hence the clay. No grass seed despite consistant watering. Clay caused runoff and we did not over or under water.

We get our annuals, perennials, landscaping, and fruit/vegetable plants from Beckers.  Their selection is awesome, prices are reasonable, and advice is top-notch.  Employees will take the time to explain everything you need to know about your plants if you ask.  They also provide a free soil pH test at the desk if you bring in a soil sample.
