Beaverton Tavern

We went here because we hadn't been in a long time, but we'll never go back again. I gave it a 3 star because what we spent here we could have went to a steakhouse. The hamburger and the burritos tasted like deer meat. The service however was amazing.Food: 3/5

Always enjoy the Beaverton Tavern. Their menu was pretty small when they first re-opened after COVID and the re-model. But it's larger now, and the food is as good as ever. It's a busy place though, so get there early!

It is great to see the restaurant open again. The service was outstanding and they did a fantastic job on the remodel, which is what my 4 stars are based on. I do think they are pricy but everywhere seems to be anymore. The food was good, some meals better than others. I would love to see them bring back the chips appetizer that came with salsa and queso dip over the new appetizer with chips and white cheese sauce. Thank you to ownership for investing locally - we will be back to support you!

We were told to try the Wet Burrito and it was every bit as good as we had heard. The homemade salsa is fantastic. A return trip will be in the near future.Food: 4/5

Last night my party of four dined in at the Beaverton Tavern. We started with the Sampler appetizer. It was a reasonable sized portion with a large spectrum of various appetizer offerings. The main courses included a small shredded beef chimichanga, taco salad, and small wet burrito. The portions are very large. Even the small size is big enough for two meals. The food is better than most tavern food I’ve found in the area. And surprisingly, having been raised in Arizona and loving Mexican food, the food was fairly good. The prices were a bit higher than what I expected, but the size of the portions offset the cost. The service was very responsive, accommodating, and quick to provide information or guidance about the menu and fan favorites. My only disappointment was the size and price for a guacamole side. I’ll definitely go back soon to try other menu items.

What a great revamp of a city landmark. The BT has been around my entire life, serving up some of the best Mexican food around. My family and I stopped in to grab a bite to eat. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff is very friendly. We got a specialty BLT pizza and it was one of the best pizza's we have eaten in a long time. Their pizza crust is outstanding. Will definitely eat here again.

Great atmosphere, great new look, only downside was our waitress sadly. She was either under trained with hospitality, having a very bad day, or just did not want to be there at all. But always end with a positive note. The food has always been good and after the face-lift it seemed to only get better.

Had a party of 4/ 2 ordered mini burritos and other 2 ordered hamburger with fries. Took an hour and 15 minutes to get the burritos and another 15 minutes later to get hamburgers. I realize it was busy and that is what waitress also told us. But we came to eat together and that did not happen. First time visit and was quite disappointed that the food took that long to get. Waitress was good and the food was good.

Bar atmosphere and good food. The waitress kept our change giving herself an extreme tip. My husband didn't feel like chasing her down. We waited 20 minutes for her to bring our change but she ignored us. Sneaky way to get a good tip.Food: 5/5
