Went around 3pm on a Sunday and it was not too busy. Wanted to try just the beaver tail on its own with no topping but my partner wanted something sweet as well. So we asked if they could only top up half the beaver tail and they had no problems doing that! Got a scoop of shark bite flavoured ice cream on the side as well. The beaver tail was very hot when we got it and very crispy. The side with cinnamon sugar was lightly seasoned and wasn’t overly sweet. The shark bite ice cream was surprisingly good, tasted of blue raspberry bubble gum. Would recommend the beaver tails here if Banff gets too busy.
We decided to go for a late night snack here around nine. Due to staff shortages, just as we walked in they said they were closed. As we were leaving the lady working there then said we could be the final customers, as we just barely made it. She was able to make us what we wanted and was very friendly as well. It was delicious, and we really appreciate her doing something so kind for us. It makes a big difference. The beaver tails were so good, full of chocolate and banana slices. Definitely take the time to stop in here!
My first experience of a Beavertail was super YUMMY!! Taking in a view of the beautiful Rockies whilst your jawline just stops observing this spectacular phenomenon. Got the bananarama and cannot wait for my next, this is truly delicious and I think from memory about 8 bucks but totally worth it and a good portion for dessert my wife and I shared. I was going to go to Beavertails in Banff, but this one in Canmore is a lot less crowded with a better view and nicer outdoor seating options.
I been wanting to try this. Beavertails which is basically a plain fried donut with toppings on top. It cost between $6-7 for one and it tasted pretty good. However when compared to fancy donut it is paying double the price of one. I'll only recommend it if you never tried it before, but I wouldn't be getting it again anytime soon.
Good beavertails, ice cream oreo wasn't good at all. Service was cold and awkward. Almost 10$ for a beavertail plus a scoop of ice cream not bad.
First time I ever tried a beavertail, very happy with what i got. Staff was friendly, food was fast, and it was so sickly sweet I felt my arteries closing. A perfect Canadian delicacyFood: 5/5
We got the Triple Chip, brWOWnie, and the Avalanche. They were all delicious! Definitely would recommend getting some BeaverTails while in Canada!
The beaver tail was decently sized, though feels smaller than before and maybe should be renamed baby beaver tail. Regardless it was fried well, and there was a generous amount of topping on it and was fairly priced. You can also get ice cream here which was shockingly cheap compared to other ice cream shops in the area.
Always consistently good! I went with my usual- Triple Trip hazelnut spread, peanut butter and Reese's Pieces. My daughter had the Brwownie hazelnut spread, brownie pieces and white chocolate and was surprised how good the brownie was on it and might change my choice next time. As far as value, you get a lot for a decent price, especially considering the costs of other treats in Downtown Canmore my daughter's ice cream cone bought elsewhere was more.
FINALLY a BeaverTails franchise in Canmore AB! No need to drive into Banff AB!More convenient if your craving and don’t want to enter the park. The girl who assisted me was very kind and noticed my Disney Darth Vader shirt who complemented me of it because her Mom have a similar shirt
