I'm so glad I don't have to drive to downtown Chicago to dine at a "pretty" restaurant with great food. The servers were accommodating and friendly every time I visited. I usually don't get salads when I eat out but the salad here is AMAZING! I love the overall atmosphere and the coffee bar with comfy furniture is a huge plus. This place is great for a romantic dinner date or brunch with the girls!
The ambience of this restaurant has a cafe vibe inside and the outside feels like your back patio with the lights and view. The food was amazing! We got the Mediterranean salad as an appetizer and the prime steak for our entree. Everything was well cooked and the salad was so fresh with different textures. We order fresh juice with lemonade and it was so delicious. Overall, this was my first time and it won't be my last! The staff were on it and made sure we were okay which is a 10:10 for me! I would recommend to try this out for a cute lunch or brunch date.
Food was very good! The side salad was excellent. Chicken was crispy, not over fried. Simply dressed decor and ambiance. Great for casual dining- any meal, as well as girls gatherings, and more! The bakery up front had a wide selection of sweet treats and coffees. The lemon muffin was yummy. Made of angel food. Service was good and attentive.
Went here with friends for brunch over the holidays and we really enjoyed our time here. The atmosphere is casual but also upscale. I really enjoyed the chicken enchiladas as well - they were recommended by a friend and did not disappoint! One point was taken off for the underwhelming and watered-down hot chocolate, it’s definitely not anything special. Otherwise had great service and experience, I will definitely be back!
The ambiance was beautiful & industrial chic! Upon arrival I approached the hostess stand and told them my reservation name. My son & I were seated literally right by the kitchen. My server was nice, food was very delicious. I was missing the warmth of service, but I would go back and give it another try.
Great atmosphere! I loved the lunch menu selections, and the chicken teriyaki bowl was amazing! I had the green power juice on the side and ceviche guacamole was spicy but very good. They have a coffee bar up front when you walk in so you cannot miss it. I would like to return and try out their breakfast or dinner menu. Overall, its a must!
Loved the customer service and their food was amazing!!! Best vegetarian options. If you are okay with eating mushroom! These were amazing, you couldn't taste the mushrooms at all! The avocado dip was even more yummy! Loved the Sriracha Aiolo sauce too! Yummy! Also love the ambiance. Vegetarian options: They have vegan options and vegetarian options. Which is awesome! Parking: Parking is okay. They have mall parking so many restaurants in one strip.

Betrix is located at the outskirts of Oakbrook Mall. Best way to get here is by using Google maps as some car navigation just take you to the mall and you have to search. We have been to Beatrix a few times and like always our experience was great. Some tips to know before you go here: * This place gets very busy so recommend you make reservations online before going. Their online reservation system is easy to use. * They have a coffee area and a dining area. If you are waiting for a ta le then you can enjoy some nice coffee in the waiting area. * Staff was friendly and helpful. They have enough servers but still can be overwhelmed due to the number of guests. * All Covid protocols were followed. Staff were wearing masks and sanitizing tables between guests. Menu are online only and you can scan the QR code to get it. * Bathrooms are very clean. We went here for brunch so below is our experience specific to that food only. * The best brunch item was their Baked French Toast. It comes with 2 big toast that is hard from the crust and soft from inside. The toast is topped with Raspberries but you can substitute it with strawberries. It also had powered sugar on top so you almost don't even need syrup to eat. We ordered 3 plate. You have to try this when visiting the restaurant. * Cauliflower grit was good. It comes with fried egg on top and is a good option for non sweet or something other than traditional omelet. * Mushroom Burger was very flavorful and fresh. Very good option for vegetarians. * Chicken Tinga was average. The chicken came in light curry and side of tortilla. * Their fresh juices were good but it comes with lot of ice. That diluted the taste. Tips; * This place is part of Lettuce Entertain so make sure you check in and give your code to get points. * If getting fresh juice then make sure to ask with very little ice. * If getting hot tea then you can always ask for extra hot water when it runs out. Overall, a good experience.
Great for lunch or dinner. Plenty of options for vegetarians. Must try their mushroom burger. Fast service and big portions. Great for party up to 8. Delicious food and cocktails.
