We are a home grown resort in Eastern Langlade County that offers
lodging, camping, pub and restaurant, kayak lessons, and gear shop.

Story

At Bear Paw Outdoors we are dedicated to adventure and fun in the great outdoors. We underwent new ownership in February of 2015. We offer the ultimate in kayaking, festivals and activities in a beautiful up north setting on Wisconsin’s premier Wolf River, a perfect place for a new outdoor adventure!

We offer kayak rentals and instruction (independent contractors). We have lodging and a pub/restaurant. Our accommodations are reasonable and clean and our food is delicious!

Friendly campground, me and a large group of roughly 15 people reserve their group site for the past two years. The group site is away from everyone else and the owners say, "There is no sound rules, but if we get a complaint that you were being too loud, then we have a problem". The bar their is great, brand new remodel and the food at the restaurant is delicious. there is a small convenience store that has limited supplies. We stay here to go rafting on the river which there are plenty of places to choose from in the area. Brand new bathroom house with indoor plumbing and showers, they are great!

I've been going up to Bear Paw for years now. It never disappoints! It's a quaint, beautiful area and the food is amazing. It has that homey, woodsy, Northern Wisconsin feel to it. Their pizza (pictured) is my all time favorite item to order there. Bear Paw has several lodging options available as well. The apartment I stayed in is pictured below. It fits 7 people - there is another bedroom with a queen bed not pictured here. They don't supply sheets but my friends and I brought sleeping bags so it was fine. It has a full kitchen (microwave, stove, freezer, fridge) with plenty of kitchen cabinets for storage. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms help keep it cool. Only 1-2 minute walk from Bear Paw. I would totally stay there again!

The owners and staff are very friendly reasonable and accommodating. The amenities are top notch. Food and drinks are great at the bar and the paddling store carries quality gear. Top notch place to visit and stay.

Awesome alternatives to typical bar food. If you're looking for usual fries and burger, this is not the place. If you're looking for delicious flatbreads and awesome nachos, you've found it. Their margaritas are awesome, too, as they specialize in their tequila collection. This is a fun place to just hang out and enjoy a smaller atmosphere.
