BE Coffee

First time here and certainly not last! Such a cozy atmosphere for warm cup of tea/latte/coffee. Not only are the drinks flavorful, the staff are kind! Love their recommendations as well. If new to this location, ask for recommendations! Love the name and perspective in viewing bees in a different light! Highly recommend Be Coffee!

BE Coffee is a new addition to a refurbished area down in the old Heritage area of Edmonton. They're finally making use of this space that is starting to fill in with residential and commercial space.nnThe space is clean and bright. It has been packed every time we've ever visited so they're obviously doing well. The limitation is that parking was only 1 hour.nnService was ok. The servers were great but they were clearly overwhelmed as there was a long wait. They may need some assistance.nnThe coffee was great. They could use a bit more variety of foods. But overall the experience was good.nn4 x

Blueberry Brie Toast: Rich with a wide depth of flavor. Sweet but mostly savory, the basil add a freshness that pairs great with the creamy Brie.nnLong Brioche: Soft custard tart sometimes from the fruit, hint of coconut.nnStunningly beautiful atmosphere with wifi and a restroom. Get off the plane at make a pit stop here before getting to your hotel, it’s worth it!

Love the ambience, amazing staff and good quality food vegan option. Washroom is clean as well. Would recommend especially for people looking for cafes to study, not too loud or too quiet. Will come back again :

This is a cute place with great decor that attempts to bring some nature inside a minimalist interior. Most of the decoration is up and out of the way so you never feel crowded and it helps the light colours and warmer wood tones avoid feeling too utilitarian like you might expect from some chains. The decoration also helps it avoid being too echoey although on a busy weekend like the one I went on the noise will be noticeable though not excessive. There’s a decent amount of seating, but like most cafes be prepared to be disappointed when a singular person on a laptop is commanding a table of four for an extended period of time.nnAs for the coffee and bites it was all very acceptable. The flight is a fun idea but in practice it meant I had one very nice warm cup, two like warm cups and an affogato that felt like it had waited too long. Part of this may be the speed at which I tend to enjoy coffee, slow and steady, but it meant I didn’t get the best presentation of three of the four options.nMy cinnamon bun was quite large, and just what you’d expect. Though I had asked for it to be warmed it arrived cold, and without that bit of reheating it was a bit dry and crumbly. Though that made it an excellent dunking companion for the flight of coffees.nOverall I’d certainly recommend BE Coffee, as it’s pleasant to sit and stay in, though I think a single larger cup of coffee is better suited if you’re planning to stay a while.
