Bayers Road Dental Centre

They have been my only dentist my whole life. I've had a lot of work done on my teeth in my childhood but not much in adulthood. Recently I had four extractions for braces. After getting the four teeth removed they tried booking me for four appointments when my mouth was full of gauze, I couldn't really talk, and I was a bit out of it. I agreed to the four appointments they booked me against my better judgement. I attended one appointment and accidentally missed the second one then I realized I wouldn't be able to make the rest and canceled. I got a letter in the mail saying that I had to pay a fee of $80 for missing the appointment. I was fine with paying the fee but I thought I might as well call them and ask if they wouldn't mind waiving the fee since I've never missed an appointment before. The lady on the phone sounded very uncomfortable and immediately said she needed to talk to her manager but her manager wasn't in and she couldn't help me so she would have the manager call me later. I was very polite and said no problem. Some time past, no call from the manager. About a week later I received a letter in the mail. The letter was very strongly worded and outlined every single appointment I had missed from the age of six to that appointment at the age of 25. She said I was responsible for the appointments I missed and would not waive any fees for me. I had no problem paying the fee I just figured I might as well ask if they say no, no big deal. All I can say is poor. Customer. service. Not to mention a number of infections from root canals from an accident when I was a child.

A HUGE thank you from Toronto to all the staff at Bayers Road Dental. My mom Carol D. was in horrible pain Friday June 22/18 & could barely talk, I spent over an hour calling dentists in Halifax from Toronto- to learn at least 6 that I called were booked solid and no one was available for a new patient emergency. Luckily this dentists receptionist put me on hold, spoke with the doctor and he squeezed my mom in 90 minutes later. After a few Xrays the Dr. who my mom said has outstanding chairside manner wrote my mom a prescription for a serious infection and scheduled her in for next week to rectify the problem. This took an enormous stressload off my brother also in Toronto today and I, as my mom is a senior citizen awaiting a surgery date for a cancerous tumour removal, so today's emergency had me shaking like a leaf as I frantically googled and dialed. Thank you very, very much. Bayers Road Dental has earned our family's highest level of respect, trust and appreciation. and of course- I highly recommend.

Incredible staff and best dental experience....I moved and still worth the commute to Halifax. Accommodating, efficient, and professional!

Dr. Peddle was great. Quick, efficient and attentive. As good as a trip to the dentist could be.

They do a good job. No complaints, very friendly staff.
